You’d think such an obvious thing like this, if it really was a bug, would’ve gotten deleted pretty quickly after the very first test with playable evokers. Was this really nerfed because of bgs? I was watching arenas and I didn’t see any glide spam at all. Could evokers like flag carry super hard with this? Or like jump from sawmill to mid better than anyone else?
This was, imo, the most fun part of evoker. Pressing space has never felt as bad as it does now after this removal. This is the peak of “fun detected”. Fingers crossed it’s a bug.

I have to agree, I think this change was ridiculous, considering every other bug plaguing Evoker the choose to nerf the one thing that had truely no negative impact besides it was just fun.

Yeah i mean… once again PVP side fixes/tweaks they could’ve done but blatantly chose not to.
Then they have the audacity to not mention it, in any of their hotfixes. Why? Because they knew they’d get backlash. Instead, they acted like a kid who stole a cookie from the cookie jar thinking we wouldn’t notice.

It was basically just DH 2.0, glad they fixed it.
turns out I can still do the skyhop while as a ghost, so… might as well enjoy it while I’m dead, til they decide to nerf that too.

Bring back glide, and give DH’s soar. Make both parties happy.
or at least make our glide viable option to Dragonriding, as Running wild is a viable ground mount for worgen.

That’s true, although, I guess we were just posers 
ehh … my motivation has just kept dropping, my evoker just… doesn’t feel fun anymore. This simple thing was such a vast improvement to gameplay, and it got removed. bug or not, it was a fun way to play. Honestly… might as well play demon hunter, but it’s still not the same. January is when it runs out.
Not that it matters, I’m just a nobody. a drop in the ocean.

That’s debatable. At least in AV. Was trying to guard SHB and was wondering how so many Evokers got to the top so quickly.

Then nerf it in pvp? Make so this change only only effect in rated bgs, and then no problem.

Rated BGs/arenas, I can accept that.
But of course they should make rated stuff have normalized gear too. to bring about fairness, but that’s a topic for another thread.
