We just had the updated T2 sets for the anniversary last year (and it included a 10/10 monk set even thigh they didn’t exist during T2)
The judgment set is robey.
There are a few sets that get plate skirts/dresses, but they’re usually highly specific in their coloring because they’re designed for a specific class, Paladins and Shamans usually.
Dk got the Acherus dress pants, and thats pretty much it.
I do a ton of piecemeal transmogs, and having more options for plate and cloth leggings especially would go a very long way

I want dks to look like dks and current game design doesnt allow for that.
So yes, I want more class specific stuff. Because it can be further designed for that class without being affected by patch, raid, tier. And it remains a dk armor, not armor used by literally anyone

Dks have plenty of DK mogs, I would know, i have most of them.
I’m gonna be honest, i dont see what you get out of this. I’m going to wear what i want 100% of the time, and stuff that doesnt fit your preferred theme is already in the game and not going anywhere.
People are going to wear what they want. Everyone already has class exclusive armor, its just not worn by everyone because seeing the same 9 sets coating the major city becomes an eyesore.
There is one class exclusive set added every major patch. And that exclusive set is not exclusive at all because can be used by other plate wearers.
Whats so difficult to understand? Classes having class locked armoe just enhances the flavor of the class and makes it unique compared to the thousand warriors wearing dk armor. Thats the entire point of class armor, to be unique and fitting of that class and no other. 1 class set per major patch 3 major patches = 3 class sets oer expansion compared to tradeing post, open world, crafting, ingameshop and zone generic sets armor. Its not even close

Depending om blizzards inability to spread out appereances on lookalike gear yes. I can guess they can get most of it.
Look at remix, all legion armor is no longer class locked. Whats gonna happen when another remix expansion comes out, even more class sets being generic

Then I guess you just lose? The sets that are generic are all bland and lacking class theming except for maybe the DH and Priests ones.
its not like DK’s are running around in Judgement gear. But even if they were, good for them, the sets are old the only people wearing them are the ones that want to.
Honestly this has been something nearly everyone has wanted for awhile and they tested the waters with the trading post stuff to see if people were really interested in it enough to buy them and they even did a mop remix version of both.
Honestly i would love nothing more then to bring back sets that truely just feel like our classes but i would imagine that after this many years it’s prob getting harder and harder to make truely unique sets that not only look decent but also fit the theme of the raid we are in.
Honestly if they have to abanden the themeing of the raid i’m all for it give me the cool looking sets back anyday.

Dks can run around in the legion paladin tier. Now tell me the emerald nightmare paladin tier is generic and its ok for other classes to use pleaseee.

Outside of it being yellow/gold (in 2 of the versions) its just generic robed plate gear.
its even more generic on the heroic and raid finder versions.
Think this is kind of the issue. Some classes have a easier go at themes then others. DH has such a basic and common theme its honestly refreshing when they break from the norm and find a shirt.
I think weapons are more a sore spot. I think half the reason mage tower weapons are so coveted is due to how rare spec themed weapons are in the game.
I think making one per class come off the nemesis fight would work better then a raid drop though.
How dare Blizzard let people choose how their class looks, DKs should only wear black, grim armor covered in skulls, and Warriors should only wear armor with poop brown spikes.

Reminds me of mop remix when we had a shaman set of armor that they changed to be useable by every one
I feel this, I think unique sets like the class order hall sets or the wow 20th anniversary class sets were great.
I also understand not liking the design iteration for a current season/tier of your class and wanting better drip.
That would be neat.
They somewhat tried this with Dimensius since Holy Priest’s artifact from legion returns but in form of a mace.
Have class and race sets too. Because some races that wear a certain armour sets looks out of place.
If the set was designed for humans and an orc wears it, just looks ridiculous.
