Please Blizzard, Don’t Add Vulpera

Go away. WoW has never been super serious.

Vulpera aren’t even “nauseatingly cute”. If you actually play their story in Vol’dun, you’ll see just how gritty they can be. Instead of, you know, whining.

I’m not asking Blizzard to cater to me alone or push anything on others. I know there are others out there who agree with me. It’s rather annoying for you to continue to set up my polite discussion as whining.

Give me my furry cute fox so I can throw money at my computer screen to race change some alts.

I’m so surprised people are against an option being added to the game. If you don’t wanna play as a fox, don’t play as a fox? But because you don’t like it, nobody else can like it… ?

Is this post real?

Because the people who don’t want them still have to see them everywhere in the world, have more lore to do with them, and see them everytime we open the character creation screen. They would be an official part of the Horde or the Alliance, diminishing the significance of whatever faction they were a part of.

Do you realize that’s an unreasonable, stubborn, and arrogant reason? Why should this game be catered to your tastes, interests, and likes alone?

I get not liking them. That’s fair.

Saying other people can’t enjoy them because you don’t like them is a whole other level of selfishness.

“Diminishing”.

Do you even read your own posts?

One of the more imaginative and interesting races in this game would DIMINISH the faction they join? Amidst three-hundred recolors of humans and elves?

The only thing more hilarious about your posts is the fact that you play a worgen, easily the most edgelord thing you could possibly play as–at least on the Alliance. Really, worgen are almost comically edgy. Vulpera are actually refreshing in the way that they can tear a sethrak a new one but also manage to be cute and endearing.

Perhaps the OP fears that the vulpera would be too popular and everyone would have to join horde to play them.

He doesn’t actually hate the foxes. He’s mad they aren’t for alliance.

Hell, I’M mad they’re not for Alliance, but only because the Horde story sucks this expansion.

It never goes through your head that multiple people can be arrogant and selfish, does it?

Logic is not strong with this one.

… My primary recommendation for you is to mind your own business.

Seriously, this game has been known to lack player agency. Big time.

Your character literally does whatever anyone tells them to do. Without any regard for you fulfilling your role… in a role playing game.

Do not take this the wrong way but your line of thinking is flat-out unhinged.

If you don’t want to be given the freedom to build your own fantasy or “role” then maybe take your anti RPG sentiments elsewhere and forcefully (but firmly) place them in your Ooker.

Dude, I’m not being selfish. I like the lore, so I don’t want arbitrary races added. Being a part of the Alliance or the Horde should mean that they’re special. All the allied races are already connected to the Horde and Alliance. I also don’t want to be out in the world and see what I (and apparently many more people after seeing the likes) see as an annoying, ugly race constantly.

They have already been added. So the question becomes, should they be playable or not. And your stance seems to be that they should not be playable because you don’t want races arbitrarily added to the game. Even though they have already been added, and so the question is whether or not they should be playable.

It’s just an infinite feed back loop.

If you dont want them added to the game, you are a little too late.

Now regarding the lore.

If these fox people choose out of their own volition to pledge their undying loyalty for the Banshee Queen, does that not make them a part of the Horde?

You seem to think this one-dimensionally. The Horde is more of an idea. You could theoretically have a very, very small amount of humans that serve the Horde. It wouldn’t break the lore in the slightest. It just wouldn’t make sense to add them (a human horde) as a playable race / facto combo because of how uncommon it is.

It’s why we Horde are literally working with a select group of Kultiran humans in Freehold without killing their friends and families. They are pirates that are simply looking after their own best interest in mind.

If I have to deal with Worgen, I want the Horde to suffer with the Vulpera.

If its playable, it counts. We have a lot of human faced races, its time for something more beastly. Don’t like beast races? Don’t play them you hypocrite.

Your forum icon makes you look like you have a shrunken head, in fact, I’m not convinced you don’t.

It’s probably already been confirmed somewhere and I haven’t bothered seeing it yet, but I’m with the OP on this. I don’t want Vulpera. I don’t see any reason why they’d want to join the Horde or the Alliance other than to get out of the desert (which imo… isn’t a good enough reason).

They’re pretty cool and have great wit, but most def not the sort of race I’d want to see joining the Horde or Alliance.

I’m still holding out for playable Arakoa, Ogres, Naga and High Elves.
