We already have tolerably cute races with both Gnomes and Pandaren.
so?
Also, we already have three humanoid/animal hybrid races with the Worgen, Tauren, and Pandaren. Four, if you count Highmountain Tauren.
aaaand?
I think it’s best for them not to be an allied race because even though you said they are not meant to be subraces, they kind of clearly are. And that’s good. Because new races should be given special attention.
I’m not sure what you are trying to say here
This is just my request.
So you point to the fact that they are cute and point to other “cute” races, and then use this as a justification for your request…
I don’t want people to think I’m bashing others who want it, but it is something that would really sour the game for me.
Because they are cute? That is a weird thing to be sour about…
Because all other problems that WoW faces could be fixed but major creative decisions, like the addition of new races, can’t just be reversed.
So how about you point to a problem instead of a feature?
There’s a lot of stuff that points to the idea that the devs are likely already planning on implementing Vulpera as an allied race, it’s just a matter of when, not if.
And yeah, you can’t really beat the massive amount of opposition you’ll have fighting against the inclusion of Vulpera as a playable race.
Too late, they have never gone back on a path from introducing a race or allied race because of opposition.
The rage against Pandarans was incredible when once announced during Cataclysm and it ramped up during Mists pre-patch. There were tons of people who said they’d quit (and many did) because they felt Pandarans were way too silly and a step too far.
As do the rest of us who are against you and your rightfulness. I hope to elune they dont cater to folks like you personally. This game shouldn’t follow that mindset. It should have and should allow anything any player wants. (when it comes to things like playable races) Regardless of your rights to whine over not wanting it. When the most simple and adult thing to do is ignore and not create a race you hate. Why do you gotta push your mindset on others who want it. That’s all I’m saying. Do you hate player choice…Do you want blizz to only cater to you and your needs only. Do you only want them to add your likes only and disregard things you hate that others may want. This game is for everyone. Ya know. When it comes down to things one thing blizz shouldn’t cater to those whining of not wanting a race. That’s my opinion. More choices of them the more happy a wide variety of people there will be. Anyone who hates a race can do simple and not play them. As it will NOT effect you at all. If it effects you then as I said before you have a personal problem…in which blizz shouldn’t cave to.
Cattle (cow is feminine having given birth to at least one calf, heifer is younger feminine before having a first calf, bull is masculine capable of reproduction, steer is a castrated male) are not fluffy, not furry, just hairy. Worgen are furries (no mater what they try to tell you, go pet a dog then a cow) We (Horde) have no furries, we deserve Vulpera.
Fox are clever, dogs are loyal, the fit is obvious.
How fluffy an animal or creature was never the indicator on what’s classified as a furry.
I’m not coming out and telling you I’m a furry, but I am familiar with the culture and people, as I have experimented with it in the past. Furry culture ranges from people who simply adore animals to weird and very questionable fetishes. It’s actually much more broad than outsiders give it credit for.
Furry culture even harbors animals like lizards and especially snakes, though the creatures are not “fluffy” they still affiliate with the vibe and culture of the furry underworld.
Tauren absolutely 100% were the “go to” for people way into this stuff long before Worgen were asked to be a race.
agreed. I’ve been unsubbed since January and will not be resubbing until Sethrak (or an equally cool reptilian race) is made playable. 15 years with no lizardman/dragonsworn fantasy race equivalent.
I support Sethrak for the Alliance as well. They’d fit in fine values-wise with either faction but they’d have a much better chance of standing out among the Alliance.
