Let’s be realistic here. If blizzard adds some completely made up race they pulled out of thin air with no relevance or place in traditional Warcraft Lore, before adding Ogres, Arrakoa, Ethereals, Dryads/Children of Cenarius or various other races that have long been awaited in the Warcraft universe and have always existed in the Warcraft universe, then its just an outright insult to true Warcraft fans and players who have stuck with this game since it started. For the love of all Warcraft, don’t sacrifice true lore for the sake of pleasing all the furries who want Vulpera.
I both want and dont want Ethereals. On the one hand they are the exact type of personality and character that I want to play from aesthetics to mannerisms.
On the other they introduced Void Ethereals (BC ones are Arcane) in Legion and I kinda expect they already have plans for them being more of a villain role in the future.
I agree, Vulpera shouldn’t be an allied race. It should be its own race as it deserves special attention. Thanks for pointing that out.
So an expansion where they also have their own dedicated zone and story questlines isn’t true lore?
Sooooo, literally any race? Every race is pulled out of thin air, Vulpera are not any different.
Would sour the game for me if they aren’t to be added. They’re awesome.
We’re at an impasse, hmmst
Also add Sethrak, alliance seriously in need of a monsterous race. I’m not talking about british puppy dogs either.
So sayeth the tentacle elf.
Well not really. Most of the races are based off of real mythology. But that’s not my reason for not wanting Vulpera.
I don’t hate Sethrak nearly as much as Vulpera but I wouldn’t want them because in my opinion it’s just another lazy humanoid animal race. At least the Arakkoa and Jinyu/Ankoan are more vaguely avian and amphibious, not “crow people” and “fish people.” And Werewolves and Minotaurs are ancient monstrous staples of mythology. Again this is just me, but I see Vulpera and Sethrak like Blizzard sitting in a room saying, “Let’s make a race of orange dolphin people.”
Please, Blizzard, do add Vulpera. Don’t listen to the closed-minded anti-furry people.
If they added Vulpera, I might actually play one. I’ve unlocked all the ARs so far (except Mag’har Orcs, because, uh, Yrel), but I haven’t made any Horde AR toons. Vulpera, though…
Many, many bonus points to the poster who drew parallels between the Vulpera and the Roma. Blizzard could (could) really do something meaningful with that.
I recently leveled my one and only horde toon and am grinding Voldunai rep just because Vulpera are like 95% confirmed by this point, with the other 5% being official confirmation. Now let’s hope Blizz doesn’t muck it up and gives Alliance an AR that can compete with little fox people so that Alli population isn’t completely dunked worse than it is because of mass transfers to Horde for raiding, pvp, and fox people. Junker Gnomes won’t do it. Ankoan might be a comparable AR.
(still waiting for Arakkoa AR. Rawk)
Blizzard is not simply adding Vulpera.
Blizzard is granting us the chance to witness the Vulpera take their rightful place amongst the Champions of Azeroth!
Vulperas should be able to ride on tauren’s shoulders / horns and gain a damage boost
Putting bras and panties on dogs is way too much like real life =UGG
I hope they add Vulpera, it’ll mean more variety of meats to eats
Source? Fever dream?
I find it very ironic that a Worgen is posting this.
