Not really. Neltharax is an appropriate upgrade for MM Hunters. Strong, but not absurdly strong. Screwing over one spec for another isn’t the answer. They need to just fix BM issues and disable the bow’s effects in 10.1, so it’s not a low level BiS for two more seasons.

This. Same ilvl Neltharax sims within ~500 dps of embellished BotDH for me. I crafted the bow and will pass Neltharax to BM mains if it drops.

I don’t know that disabling it is necessary, but certainly a big nerf is warranted. Drop to 1% per stack PvE and PvP after season 1 ends IMO.
Its exactly an Upgrade of 0% if you cant get the Bow.
Better nerf it ,so that other Players doesnt have that massive Advantage just because of lootluck.Blizzard themselfes acknowledged how op that bow is,otherwise they wouldnt nerfed it in PvP

You are using too much of your brain and logic here. The people in charge of this video game obviously can’t do that, there’s a reason its in the state it is lol.

How about we stop nerfing hunters in general just because of the Bow? Whole expansion feels really bad to play MM. Weak damage, weak defensives, double dipping on lust pet (lost Fortitude of the bear) and dps loss. Pick 1, or crazy, NONE. It’s dumb
dont nerf it, its fine as is. sure it sucks that certain weapons have a gain than other weapons. but honestly it gives flavor and incentive to run raiding/m+ content.

It certainly does give some flavor when your equally geared / skilled friends suddenly jump way ahead on the dps meters all because they got lucky and you did not…
I agree, don’t nerf it. But it’s not fine as is. With such low drop rate there are way more people feeling crappy about not getting in than there are people happy about getting it. Really not great game design.

they should just add a new bow embellishment 5% attack speed but only 5 stacks so we get 25% attack speed, which still makes the Raz bow superior but it would close the massive gap.
Make this embellishment a drop from raid bosses. lfr gives 3% stack, Normal 4% stack, Heroic 5% stack

Honestly I would rather just get the class buffed instead of relying on RnG and special weapons to do competitive damage. Feels bad

Just give us some type of token system to buy the bow. We slaved at this for weeks/months now. For ****'s sake cut us a break, blizzard.
I’d rather they not nerf the bow… but if they would, just give us the appropriate buffs to all hunter damage to compensate.
No other class has to deal with this type of low rng horse**** for one single 10-15% damage upgrade.
