I think it’s fair to say that with only 6% of all accounts completing at least one challenge during the last timewalking, which lasted FOUR weeks, that the recolored recolors weren’t exactly hitting the ball out of the park. What a shocker.

Challenges were too hard for most players, as clearly shown. And while I did do 11/12 classes (just priest left), I don’t think removing it was ideal. I personally think the game would be in a much healthier state if everything was accessible and it was up to players to overcome the challenges to obtain these cosmetics. Unfortunately, Blizzard picked a different path from the beginning of time so I can’t blame them for sticking to it.

Why did you stop at priest?
I wasn’t motivated and I had no intentions of playing priest any time soon. I had to learn a lot of new specs and I got a bit burnt out. I’ll probably do shadow priest next time it comes around.
Most important things I wanted were the bear appearance, my main (hunter) and the mount. Had the challenge been gone permanently I would’ve done the priest one even with lack of motivation.
If it’s 1% then I’m we adjust the mage tower drop rate accordingly. You get 1% per drop rate for each event. One time completion per event only. So if you get 5 legion time walking events a year it’s 5% a year.
It’d be the only drop rate acceptable and that I would agree too. Otherwise I support the weapons remaining gone and you having no access to them.

You know what. I fully support mage tower in the new form never returning too.
It was never about removing the challenge but everything to do with the weapons.
People don’t want the challenge content they just want to out gear and out level the content and get freebies.
That’s a super sad state of affairs.

There has got to be something that can be done. These skins are HIGHLY requested by those that don’t have them. Maybe bring them back with different colors?

I think in the re-introduction of mage tower they specifically said they wouldn’t for the sake of players who had got it at the time.

I got most of the skins I wanted from the event. Several MOP CM sets that i wasn’t able to get that i wish I had.
Having said that, I am still ok with them bringing the weapons back if it’s going to remain as difficult to get as it seems to be with this current version of the MT. No getting to do it when its easier or outgeared. Level synced for all time and hard AF? Ok, go for it. If you can get them in that context, more power to you, IMO
