I’m asking for flying or for them to buff the ground mount to 300% speed.
There are alot of people like me who just can’t be decent at Mario Kart and other driving games.
I saw it was a mistake because people kept asking for it and getting it was like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum just to get their sweets.
It took away their ability to adapt.

100% speed is fast enough. Adapt or don’t. You got your choices.
Use the “Engine: Controlled Cruiser” that you get told of during the introduction of D.R.I.V.E.
It effectively turns it into an epic mount that you can use a boost and drift in. Once you get access to more customization options you can make it steer better, have better or worse acceleration, etc… But in all honesty, I’d also recommend just having a bit of fun and practice with it.
The thing isn’t difficult to control, not really. It has some unintuitive elements, such as the drifting not being physics based as it would be in engines that could do physics in that way. But… besides that, it ain’t bad. Just don’t pedal to the metal if you can’t control it and you’ll be fine.

No it didn’t. It’s insanely tiny and there was nothing that could be remotely cheesed with flying. It’s three caves and some dailies.

With that attitude I assume you must also have a major issue with the ability to swap between regular flying and skyriding then.
The thing is there are some people, like myself, who will never be able to drive in video games because there is just some disconnect and accept we can’t be decent when it comes to games like Mario Kart.

Yeah, no Sh1t, but people couldn’t even adapt 4 weeks to unlock flying. My response is me being done with people complaining about every little thing.

Only issue I have with it is the 5 second cast time, but I just use skyriding 90% of the time so I don’t think about it.
Then use your ground mount, that is an option.

strange how flying seems to work just fine when i’m doing these jetpack races

No, they weren’t fine. So many post and threads about Siren Isles being ground only for 4 weeks and how crappy blizzard was and the same damn complains void said. It is never ending. I am tired of it now.

the jetpack is a lot more fun to control than the car too so this feels really backwards

No, I’ve just had probably hundreds of interactions with them on the forums. We have disagreed on issues at times.
I never said you were a troll. Also if I click your name it simply shows “User’s public profile is hidden”.
i’m not really sure what makes them appear, but, there are jetpack races you can do similar to the vehicle races around undermine. you might have to complete up to chapter 4 of the story, since side quests are also gated by story progression
