Please add dungeon finder to phase 2

You have zero (0) idea what you’re talking about. Why do you talk. Like this? An MMO is a game for everyone, not just socialites. Nowhere in the definition does it say ‘socializing.’ For your reference, Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing game. Instead of giving crappy advice to anti-social people that they won’t follow, maybe think beyond a selfish surface level view.

Accomadating people that are shy or anti-social doesn’t impact you at all. You’re still welcome to: “Get out of your shell. Talk to people. Say you’re looking for a group. Start a group. Join a guild. Ask the guild.”

Not everything is because of someone being antisocial.

For example, I wouldn’t mind it so my chats are more about what they’re designed for than

That has nothing to do with me being “antisocial,” that’s just annoying.

Antisocial would much better fit the person not wanting to have to communicate with others to try and get someone else for their healing runes.

Or perhaps anti-social people shouldn’t play a social game. If you want to do group content being social is a pre-requisite. Not every game is for everyone, and thats ok. This whole concept that large groups of people should adjust to a small group is part of the problem with modern gaming. Best of luck out there and hope you find something more suited to your delicate sensitivities. Cheers!

I’d be happy to tell you how you’re wrong, but again, you’re forcing a self-opinionated narrative. When it’s stated nowhere in the definition of the genre. Please advise, how would accomadation for them impact YOU? You’re vehemently against something that 1. isn’t applicable to you at all, and 2. doesn’t impact you whatsoever.

Any automated system for grouping has an adverse affect on the overall game and its players. Something like the lfg tool that was in Classic TBC and beginning of Wrath would be fine as groups still need to manually form and walk to instances. Anything beyond that is not needed. Again, if you don’t like the game find something else. Asking to change things for a small subset of people (those people would benefit from socializing btw) is wrong headed.

This is insane to ask…

Yes, because it worked so well in wotlk classic.

Whenever I do a dungeon in wotlk I feel like I’m playing soccer. It’s all about the kicking.

Did they add it to wotlk after all?
they cry asking for it throughout phase 1.
what happened?

To be fair, it is a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game, right? Not a Small Singleplayer Offline Roleplaying Game.

Maybe play some offline games where you can play what you like without having to interact with other people?

Flagged for trolling. This is classic.

Oh it most certainly does. Because boosting for gold is one of the drivers for RMT.

And it removes players from the potential pool of folks pugging dungeons, making finding a dungeon group more difficult.

If these systems were not needed, why were they implemented in the first place? If they ruined the game, why did people use them? I apologize, but your understanding of anti-social people (as a social person) and what would benefit them is based off of what?

WoW is a game made for all types of people, not just people that fit into Beanzey’s ideal way of playing.

Socializing isn’t in the the definition. I’m not going to break down the definition of each word in MMORPG. Your interpration is just that, yours. People can still enjoy this game, and not be social. Asking for a tool isn’t going to ruin or alter your experience in Azeroth whatsoever.

Dog needs a shiny button to get him to play the game, sigh…

It’s difficult to imagine this being a genuine request, but if it is, I’d point out that some people seemed to ask for Dungeon Finder for Wrath, and it coincidentally came out when the most popular raid of all time came out, and the population went in to rapid decline.

Coincidence? You be the judge.

-1 billions of groups to pick from or start in LFG channel

Imo, the LFG tool that is used for m+ in retail is perfect.

Private servers were popular because players wanted the game without that nonsense. We have SoD because the people that do not want the automated group finder. There is a version that has that, go there.

No reason to apologize, its a valid question. To be frank, I don’t know the best thing for anti-social people. I do know that trying to make games be all things to all people is a recipe for disaster. This game doesn’t have those things, I would advise anti-social people to find a game that does not require socializing.

True. But it IS made for groups of people and this requires socializing. Just the way it is. I’ve heard XBox offers a myriad of options for those that are unable/willing to socialize.

If that’s all you were able to take away from my post then you’re just a big ol goofball.

Fun fact: I am someone who suffers severely from social anxiety and larger groups of people. It’s not as bad online anymore because I was willing to work on it. Sure, it’s scary, but with a massively multiplayer game, you’re going to have to deal with others. If it’s just occasionally spamming that you’re LFG, that’s it. You don’t actually have to talk to anybody in it if you don’t want to.

But again, you’re being a goofball.

Bro said people boosting doesnt effect you :skull::skull::skull: try dungeon leveling in era
