Yes, they were. I healed at the end of Vanilla on an alt, and I used Grid with full mouseover. We also had mouseover macros, clique, and healbot.
Mouseover macros were 100% in Classic. However, they were much more complicated than the current UI.
Howso? Iām seriously wondering. I never wrote my own macros in Vanilla. I did, however, use healbot/clique and Gridā¦which functioned exactly the same way my ElvUI setup works in retail today.
Go away. Leave my Classic alone.
Can we also get XP for looting nodes too?

Currently the mouseover macro is ~4 lines. Can vary depending on functionality. In classic mouseover macros were like 8 lines and much longer. Iāll try and find a copy of my Holy Pally macros from '05 and post them or PM to you.

Just imagine a little nerdy gnome walks into Blizzard HQ. Hey guys, hey, hey I got a fresh idea for classicā¦ see people used to complain they ran out of those quest thingsā¦ uh what if we make the world I donāt know kind of level up so people would not have quests or mobs go grey and be worth less? what do you think, I know itās a cool new feature right we can implement it right away everyone will love not having to grind mobs they can like skip westfall till they are in the 50ās and still get full challenge and xp. I am so smart, got to run to booty bay and tell wizlfink my new plan cya guys laterā¦

But there are 5 instances per hour. So even if you could AoE loot in classic, you would still be hindered by the instance lockout mechanic. Gold per hour would be the exact same.
