Please add a @target casting choice node for Flamestrike and Meteor

In 2025 there’s no reason we should need to deal with WoW’s buggy ground targetting system. If your camera is angled to high the ground targeting circle will clip into the roof pretty often, and if you click the ground too vigourously it will remove your current target completely.

both frost and fire need this treatment with flamestrike, meteor, frozen orb, and blizzard. Its been pretty contentious since both warlock and shadow priest got this treatment back in shadowlands/dragonflight

I genuinely don’t understand why this is not a thing yet it’s insane.

If it’s better not to use it then let us players who want to play at a “disadvantage do so”.

If this is strictly better then targeting with your cursor, then why is there a mechanic in game that is checking my mouse accuracy skills, and my ability to flick my mouse across the screen to decurse my ally and then focus target the mob casting while also keeping my cursor over the middle of the mobs for my FS all within 1.5 seconds. This is literally an ability we use every GCD I am not playing an FPS game I am playing WoW.

They should just let us have @target macros instead of adding in a bunch of choices nodes.

Or just a selection/toggle in your spell book so new players aren’t even more confused. It just makes zero sense that we’re one of the last classes to get the option, especially given fire’s APM.
