Its not a buff, its them judt redoing the leveling exp needed like they do every prepatch
I understand it’s not technically a buff, but it seems reasonable to me to go from an XP buff like “Winds of Wisdom” to a permanent XP reduction for 1-60. That’s a response to their argument.
I’m a bit surprised they didn’t just leave it for folks not doing instanced content for the season. That and maybe a rep buff with it.
I thought LFR is Fated?
Yeah, that’d be nice.
It might as well be nothing. Whats the point of redoing the same world quests for the same rewards with a different number on them?
Its Fated but the mechanics are so minute it might as well not exist
Isn’t that kind of what people want in LFR, though?
I guess if you ignore the other things I mentioned and hyper fixate on one small thing it seems like nothing.
They could have done any number of little things, and yes an item level bump on open world stuff would be minor but still more than what we actually got.
I mean, they might mean in the affixes added not really revitalizing the raid.
Bud, World of Warcraft is a lot more than phased instances and group play.
Or at least should be.
Sorry, but at what point does “I want dungeons to be a challenge” indicate “Neglect the rest of the game to focus on one niche system?”
I don’t mind dungeons being a challenge. I don’t mind raids being a focal point. I mind that the part of the game I tend to enjoy the most is either bad or non-existent.
Why do people use this argument when it fails to understand that Blizzard quite literally found its success in WoW on the fact that you didn’t need to play with other people to have fun?
The only reason why WoW still exists today is that it went against the friction of most MMOs where being in a group was required, otherwise you would fail miserably or just not play the game.
Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game does not mean a series of phased instances where you barely interact with the world. That is antithetical to an MMO’s design.
But its not a draw for resubbing for the content of you dont do anything else in S4. I agree, world quest gear should have been 265 for funneling up in raiding as an alt to LFR along with changes to Sandworn Relics for alt gearing – but to me it isnt enough of a draw unless you were going to sub regardless of the content situation is.
Lets be real, we are in the usual content drought that we would be in post expac.
I didn’t expect much at all, but I still find a lack of resources being designated to some aspects of the game to be emblematic and affirming of my concerns about this state of the game for some time now, which is the fact that open world/solo players are more of an afterthought.
For me it’s basically the difference of being completely ignored vs a minor nod that other players exist.
I agree it’s not much, but I’m really not asking for a lot.
I honestly thought they would do at least that much for open world play, but they didn’t even toss us the table scraps.
All difficulties I talked about are dungeons. Didn’t say a word about raids. Some people would want a challenge to their mode of preference but then ignore that said mode of preference have various difficulties within it.
Have you done the deaths of chromie content from legion? Many players never did it and have forgotten. I highly recommend it if you haven’t done it. To start it, go visit chromie at the top of wyrmrest temple in dragonblight northrend. May give you something to do.
SL has these.
SL also has these. Just because they are “callings” now doesn’t mean they are different.
This is fair. Blizzard has been criticized since BFA for not doing this sort of thing again. 4 covenant campaigns don’t compare to a campaign for each class.
Isn’t this a class quest? As for mounts, if anything SL has too many.
We have a new mage tower right now.
Korthia.
Zereth Mortis.
The Maw.
Torghast. Plus each covenant has a covenant specific activity.
Have you tried Skyrim?
Or maybe Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?
Or the Witcher 3?
There’s plenty of solo, open world games for you to try.
Because the idea of S4 was to keep the raiders/pvpers/m+ subbed because they wouldnt be around much longer as S3 continued to the end. The solo/open players would be in the same position regardless of S4 existing or not
Most of these are rehashed into SL minus Class Quests which are questionable because most of these were for Campaign quests. I might as well say the Covenant Campaign and it would be the same thing
I do understand it’s you who don’t evidently you can’t just leave people out next time leave endgamers out see how it goes.they couldn’t even put the measly effort in of raising cypher gear explains it all.
