Players who rage in normal dungeons

Just stop it. I keep seeing players lose it when a mistake is made in normals, like it’s +20 M+. They seem to want everything to go perfectly including the path and what mobs to skip, when that doesn’t happen they unleash on the player who made the mistake. I just think it’s bizarre, players who do this are strange people.

I had a prot pally rage hard in a timewalking during BFA cause a demon hunter accidentally pulled a second group in Stonecore in the patrolling scouts room. He went off about how timewalking was harder than M+ and basically he alone could cure cancer if us peasants weren’t impeding his dungeon pulls or something.

The demon hunter was just like SORRY NO ENGLISH and pulled another group. Tank left and took his healer druid with him. Demon hunter then chatted with us while we waited for new people in perfect English. Total legend.

That’s all you can really do with those types I suppose, just laugh. Raging on a person you don’t know because they didn’t do something perfectly in a game is almost Karen-esque.

The funny part is that these are the same people who in TW won’t use CC/LoS/etc where it’s basically a requirement to not wipe (like next to last room in Utgarde Pinnacle) after being so upset about how the rest of the dungeon was run.

Yep, it’s the silliest thing’s I’ve seen in normal - is an un-normal, unhinged whack-a-mo! But, they’re everywhere. Weird in WoW dungeons - so unusual!

You see, the problem is. The middle of their cornbread isn’t cooked enough.

Consider yourself lucky, they were merciful to you. I would rather someone be kicked than be subjected to bullying because they made a mistake.

With “mistake” in big air quotes, most of it doesn’t really qualify as that in the context of a normal dungeon.

I remember this one guy who started frothing at the mouth cause some random interrupt didn’t happen in an M0. An M0. It wasn’t even one of the casts in an M0 that does anything significant. Suffice it to say I quickly put them on ignore.

Life is too short and the hours too precious to me to behave like that in a game. I can say with absolute certainty that I have never lost it and raged at a stranger in an instance run because of mistakes.

It just feels so childish, like you can’t control yourself. Why bother venting and raging at someone? Does it somehow revert time back before the issue and make it not happen? It’s like those idiots in battlegrounds who use all that abusive language when they aren’t getting a win. Does that somehow make it better?

At such times, you need…

There has got to be scientific explanation for this bizarre behavior. You know they are not going to speak to people this way in real life.

One can only conclude that they have miserable lives and take it out on others.

I’m sorry that happened to you, a player in my group earlier was treated poorly and it made me realize how horrible people are.

We should stop raging in all content, anywhere from a 0 to a +35.

Pretty sure most of us are adults.

I still remember a year or so back when I was leveling my mage, we got into a ragefire chasm and we were all killing everything randomly cuz that dg doesn’t require anything resembling a tank. Our healer got really uppity saying how we’re going to cause wipes and when everyones like: dude chill its rfc, they started trying to pull the entire dg to kill us, when that didn’t work they just left. To this day i still have no idea why they were so nettled over a lvl 15 dungeon everyone was 2 shotting the mobs in.
