Seen in Teldrassil, but I guess there are more. Still not as many as the Nightborne, but if Blizzard’s adding Highborne customization likely means to represent there are more.
Also, in some way, the Highborne of Azsuna are associated with the Alliance. 
Did they add that for Night Elves? I didn’t see anything. I just saw mostly vines and scars.

I see plenty of people running around on the alliance side of the two servers I play on, so what ‘theoretical players’ do is of no relevance.

I play both. And I play both in Classic. Why limit myself forever to 1/2 the game
If you’re keen on a rich end-game environment, go horde. There are simply more end-game players.
Blizzard’s past decisions have unbalanced the game for the horde. While a lot complain about it, I’ve heard no good solution, and if Blizzard had one, they’d implement it.
So, we are where we are.
My most progressed toon is Horde because getting things done is faster on the red side, but I don’t consider myself Horde even though I’ve been here for years. The narrative and vibe don’t resonate with me, so my favored toons are Alliance. You don’t need to limit your game experience to one side, OP.
I don’t like most of the Horde races, and those I do choose don’t complete a lot of the main quests unless absolutely necessary (Horde bad!). I guess I roleplay in the game more than I care to admit.
But it’s so nice to just level an alt without getting swarmed by Horde…

Agreed,I play both factions and the ratio seems pretty okay. If there’s an issue with your respective faction server side in terms of content consumption then mayhap that is more a player issue than a faction issue. From my experiences when I’d dabble BGs more religiously on my alts,I’d notice depending on the BG the pug I’d be on get super defeatist especially alliance side and not even try which gives this notion they can’t be competitive like ever. Tack on higher progressed guilds being horde in the EU then same perception can also be seen.
Truth is any faction can do well,any class/spec combo can do well if people are willing to put in the effort,crack the code of how the specs work and ignore the YouTube and Twitch pundits in favor of thinking for ourselves. I’d ignore that obviously clickbait video and play what you want,OP.

I play both Horde and Alliance equally. Play whatever makes you happiest, not what’s the most popular.
Yup because blizzard started a “everyone move to horde” movement with first racials being broken and OP for horde only, then they saw the mistake and nerfed some, buffed and gave alliance ar’s op racials, but it was too late. People had 0 reason to come back to alliance side cause too many people went horde and now its a huge imbalance where horde have a 90% win rate in ALL bgs, alliance have a 20% or less chance of real victory.
