"players can now capture pets by throwing a cage, without having to battle them"

I didn’t write that article, so I can only speculate, but I think it’s referring to the fact there aren’t any pets out in the wild to battle and capture, as well as there being no Family Battler achievements. All the pets in the zone come from a few treasures, rares, or the Eco-Dome weekly.

That pet comes from clicking on some bones in K’aresh.

As pointed out, that article was referring to pets collected via battling. It’s certainly poorly worded but correct. There are a number of pets, though, that are lootable.

No, it’s not correct. The article did not say it was referring only to pets collected via battling. It said, " The K’aresh zone in World of Warcraft Patch 11.2 had no collectible battle pets or achievements at all," which is an absolute, and patently wrong.

Obviously, it does. Certainly not as many and none that can be captured. But to say it had no collectible battle pets at all is obviously wrong. And people who want to get what they can out of K’aresh when it comes to battle pets need to know what’s there.

I wish they wouldn’t remove pet battles, not only I use it to find rares and decide if I want the pet or not I used pet battles to help level my characters.
