Players are weaponizing mass-report/auto-ban system in AV

Behavior

Behavior that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment (such as griefing, throwing, feeding, etc.) is unacceptable. We expect our players to treat each other with respect and promote an enjoyable environment. Acceptable behavior is determined by player reports and Blizzard’s decision, and violating these guidelines will result in account and gameplay restrictions.

It says in the ToS that it is against the ToS to intentionally throw games (Which every alliance who’s mass reporting in AV does.) but it says under it that “The community and Blizzard decides what is greifing” So if you intentionally lose the game you get your account actioned but if you go against the zerg and they mass report you thats ok too as long as the AI automated response says so.

Either way you’re screwed as an alliance player

Yeah the state of classic is insane right now. Blizz is handing out 2 week bans via automated systems and applying algorithms to people’s accounts while bots go untouched.

If I didn’t have friends that I keep in touch with on WOW / discord I would unsub.

This… I’m betting 99% of the reported were loud mouths in chat.

After being a longtime subscriber who has never ever had suspensions whatsoever and been playing for nearly a decade, I actually got a 2 week temporary ban for being in mid. NGL I was looking for a reason to permanently unsubscribe and it looks like I found it.

Did you run to snowfall every match and sit there the entire game, doing no damage and healing for more than half your matches?
