It’s a speed hack. I quit back at the end of WotLK because it was getting real bad. It messes with the game speed and desyncs everything. I had a DH hit me with Eye beam and like 4 different attacks in about 2 globals, i hope its not making its way back in.

I agree some of this could be speed hacking. Fortunately, I have not seen any more of this since earlier this week. Hopefully, the issues is/being resolved.

Is your mate a priest who was mindcontrolling? MC is mostly the reason why people are teleporting around.
Its still happening!!! Its the speed/ping hack. I’ve seen monks on 3 separate occasions in rated RBGs glitch around the map. In our last match the monk went from Blood Elf Tower to Fell Reaver Ruins in a SINGLE ROLL.
I was in kotmogu and a monk teleported from the bottom, up the stairs, around the corner, and back on to me - in one second. This crap needs to end its ruining RBGs

It is lag abuse although a few of those players may legitimately have crap connections
I’ve seen it to. I know there is a bug associated with Mind Control that causes it sometimes. Otherwise, sometimes players are bouncing like a lag switch is being used.
