no, those are names, not nameplates.
Having the same issue on my shaman with totems. It gets really annoying with up to 4 extra nameplates showing at all times.

Yes same here with my hunter pet i hope this gets fixed. Im not sure if there is an add on that would fix this
no, this is a server issue.
A server issue ? I play on Bloodsail the RP server does that have any thing to do with it ?
Having this issue on my hunter and it’s really annoying. Please fix.
This just started happening to me today. Only way to toggle off is by unchecking enemy minions (which i don’t want to do).
Nameplates for hunter pets owned by players of the same faction work correctly. It’s only a problem with my own pet’s nameplate. Hope that helps and that this bug gets fixed.
This is still happening. Seeing my own minion as an enemy nameplate.

painfully obvious theyre using a shonky version of MANGOS for this.
It’s the same deal on private servers since forever.
this now appears to be fixed. is anyone still having this issue?
