I would love this so much. Especially after looking around all of Dornogal and even Valdrakken.
Odeargod that would be horrible. lol Instanced or do like Wildstar, where it was instanced, but it was still a neighborhood, due to how their instancing and phasing worked.
Don’t you all just love how player housing just brings the whole community together in joy?! Palia should have taught us that there is a desire for this type of content.
There’s an addon out there called “Lorekeeper”. Doesn’t solve the housing issue, of course, but it is rather useful in saving copies of lore-reading items.
And if you want a more immersive run through with quests, “Dialogue UI” is a good addition.
People are so polite, they will literally stand in line to wait their turn for something. And while waiting, we were gifting materials to each other that we might need.
That happens but also doesn’t. Back in the day when I played Realm Online (second mmo on the market) Dungeons didn’t have automated queues so people would form these lines but there was always those people that would cut the line and as more and more came that did this the more people started just massing in a circle near the dungeon trying to get in. Its sad, but the few selfish people in a community often ruin these wholesome moments.
This is how I feel about all of the Dracthyr whining for Druids, Shaman and perma-Visage for Evoker.
I get grumpy and then mute the threads.
Interestingly, when someone attempts to ruin it in Palia, they get smacked down for it pretty hard and the person ends up apologizing and you never see it again.
We had an influx of other MMORPG players who tried to treat it like some sort of mythic end game content. They got told what was what and either settled down or quit. Things went back to chill and normal after a pretty short amount of time.
Not sure that’ll be true. A lot of ways the gaming sphere can change over the coming years, that may shape what features/projects get made. Hard to call though.
If they solve what I suspect is a significant tech problem… A lot of opportunities for extra money via the store and furniture recipes.
