Can we hurry up with player housing? I need to build a library with the books I’m collecting.

And before anyone says it, garrisons are base building, not housing.
Housing is typically a single building with full control over placement and choice of furniture and decorations, something Garrisons had none of.
If anyone thinks Garrisons are housing, maybe go look at ESO or SWTOR for what housing is and understand that Garrisons are NOT what people who want player housing want.

ACTUAL base building like you do in a survival game would be cool as all get out.

Add housing, and add a new profession like carpentry or something to build housing items that you can unlock like the transmog system and put in your home.
I want more cool cosmetics to collect, and I want a farm/garden and somewhere to put my pets

I wonder if selling furniture will be a sub job? I can see blacksmiths, tailors, leatherworkers, and engineers making a fortune just from selling various parts or full sets.

Cos the second is really BAD.
Housing could be such a way to engage players in ALL content, from vanilla all the way up. Boss drops, mog display, exploration items…

If you want a library, you’ll need to get the plan, but 1st you’ll have to find it, as apparently it’s been eaten by the draftsman’s dog, so you need to go to his back yard and pick up the good stuff until you find it.
Then you’ll need to gather/buy/find/steal 1000 books to start your collection. This will take some time.
Lastly you’ll have to recruit a librarian, and one just so happens to be held hostage by some powerful ugly monster, who you’ll need to kill to free the librarian, who is so grateful you saved his life he agrees to come work for you.

The lack of houses and the bidding wars making it so only the insanely rich people could afford a home. Mimiced life wayyyyy too much I ain’t about all that. Just let us have our toys.

Not having player housing by now is the craziest thing I have seen from mmo developers. It is a stain on wow.
Like imagine, saying no to content that would last in almost every expansion, and even make older expansions have value?

I already live alone, why would I want to live alone in the game too. Now if we had guild halls, then we are talking.
SWTOR Housing would work best in WoW. Each city and race can have their own theme.
