I think if you have the heritage armor, you should get the heritage home skin. Let’s not make the garrison mistake of mingling housing with progression. If they want special decorations to drop in certain content, like they did with Dragon customizations, I am good with that. But this needs to ignore the laws of PvE and PvP and solely be RP to succeed.
I hope so. I don’t want everything devolving into Orc/Human homogenization.
It’ll probably be the case (to an extent) – However I’d imagine it will take sometime before it reaches such a stage, even after they’re initially released.
Keep in mind they have to develop, build, code, design and implement them into places for numerous players for the housing too — So naturally it’s going to take some time before they’re able to push such ideas, including ones even they themselves want to eventually achieve towards it.
However I will agree @ those who state that Garrisons wasn’t really housing – nor do I believe it was an attempt at such. People just drew the line of having a space governed by your character and aligned it with ‘This is player housing’ due to that sole correlation.
Fingers crossed we’ll get more variety!
I agree, absolutely
Honestly I think it’d be an awesome incentive & rewarding feature too.
Yeah same.
That being said, Blizzard seem to be a bit more open-eared to the community lately since Metzen came back (Sure everything’s not “Perfect” but it’s still far better).
So hopefully, they’ll recognise the outcries against the repetitive homogenization and implement more various options & aesthetics for ‘Player-Housing’
I’d imagine whatever house you get will be for all your Warband and not per character.
That’s a fair point.
That being said, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was per character either.
On that note — They should still have multiple aesthetics & architectures to choose from, other than just some mildly neutral ones (eg. The typical Human & Orc designs).
