Man, I’ve never been so glad to eat my own words that player housing will “never” be a thing. I imagine this must’ve been in development for awhile and makes me wonder if dyeable armor is not that far off.

I will never use it. EQ2 had player housing and I only used it to sell stuff. Everyone will be hiding in their little corners, and the world will be further empty.

they don’t need to redesign the wheel.
all they have to do is copy and paste from ff14, elder scrolls online, or wildstar
but I fear they’ll just make it garrison 2.0 with rostrum of transformation arrows to customize the home in a “my first player housing for 5 year olds” experience

Will be interesting to see if they live up to their prior statements of needing to do a ton of work on the engine to do it correctly or if we get something more akin to Garrisons with predefined placements as our “customization”
