Player Frame Disappearing After Getting into Vehicles

See title. I usually move all my frames to personally preferrable postions. After the patch whenever I’m doing any quest that has vehicle or customized NPC frame replacing my player frame its position gets reset. This however does not apply to target frame or focus frame. Really weird.

Same issue, my keep resetting when I change zones etc.

Update: I opened a ticket and got the response from GM to reset my UI. However I’ve seen quite a few reports here indicating the issue is not on my end. Please share your experience/fix with this if you ran into the same problem. Thanks!

I saw someone mention ElvUI in another thread. If it’s an add-on doing it, there isn’t anything they can do.

You should still go through a full and proper UI reset (not reload, mind you). Even though there are multiple folks saying this is a thing, you’d be surprised how many issues are resolved by the simple act of it.

Same problem. Its happening across multiple different UI addons and stock frames as well. Resets player frame on entering a vehicle.

Hopefully that gets some recognition. It’s happening when all addons are disabled. Something in the CVARS is messed up after the patch.

same issue. have recreated after disabling all addons, clearing wow cache, etc.

happens 100% of the time when entering a vehicle if the player had manually adjusted the position of their player frame.

can recreate with 100% success by mounting the flayedwing transport in Korthia, for example.

pretty annoying bug to have to constantly replace the frame positions all the time. please fix or pass to development team.

same issue, have to re-adjust my character-frame everytime it resets to top-left position.

I’m also having the same issue. I have found this post along with reddit ones too. It has to be something they changed with this patch.

Not sure what they change, but I no longer have this issue as of today.

I noticed the change today, too. Not sure if any changes were implemented.
