Playable Horde Eredar when?

When?

The when is if we ever get another batch of allied races and only if in that batch there is a “faction swap” pairing.

Most likely the Void War would be the best time for them if they are to come.

Never. Thankfully blizzard doesn’t listen to dumb ideas

I’d love Eredar. I’d make one immediately.

…and you actually believe that…

Orcs would never allow Man’ari Eredar among their ranks thanks to all the past stuff with drinking green fel cordial and minipulation which turned the Shamanistic Orcs into mindless raging warmongers.

Good luck seeing Man’ari Eredar on the Horde, Alliance on the otherhand…

Note: Blizzard should have allowed for Man’ari Eredar as a allied race, not the borish Lightforged Draenei

Could be an allied race where both factions could have access. Lore wise it can be possible, legionites were sentient and could have defected when the legion really started to lose its hold/stability, or captured and drafted or some other means. Give them shades of red or black skin, runes/fel scarring choices, horn colors, fellish eye colors, or just add all this new customization to the existing Draenei, either way more variety and customization are desperately needed.

You can play one now, very temporarily, by using the Jewel of Hellfire. It looks fantastic in conjunction with Blazing Wings.

Right … about … not yet.

Hopefully soon.

Probably never.

There currently isn’t any story reason they would join either faction in any real numbers. Plus there really isn’t any around on Azeroth to join. The Legion was defeated and lore wise there isn’t any reason to believe there are any Legion forces left on Azeroth.

So to get them it would have to be in some future xpac where they came up with some convoluted reason why a group of the remaining Legion forces returned to Azeroth and for some reason didn’t show up as an enemy but seeking aid and we didn’t just kill them when they show up.

I can maybe see them doing it if they did a full on Light is bad with a the enemy of my enemy is my friend twist to it. I wouldn’t hold my breath on that though.

Never. It makes zero sense.

You’ll never see them on the Alliance either, they actively committed genocide against the Draenei for thousands of years.

People who keep asking for Man’ari Eredar to be playable are likely the same people who skip cutscenes and never paid attention to the story.

Kil’Jaeden and Archimonde WILLINGLY submitted to Sargeras and were appointed as LEADERS to direct the Legions conquest. That is the whole point in Sargeras seeking the Draenei out.

Their brains weren’t tricked. They weren’t manipulated. They weren’t duped. Velen, who has the power of FORESIGHT, warned them that Sargeras wanted them for power and they STILL chose to join him.

When Kil’Jaeden is defeated, he wasn’t some raving lunatic. He knew exactly what he was doing. They wanted power.

We don’t need to keep having Blood Elf redemption arcs. It makes for bland and redundant story telling.

I doubt that playable demons will be available anytime soon. However maybe a group of corrupted dranaei shunned by the others? We now have void corrupted high/bloodelves in the Alliance. Imagine voidsworn draenei joining the Hore and it could work.

Now WHY would draenei become voidsworn? Maybe they felt abandoned by the light? Maybe they turned to the void to prevent themself from becoming broken? In the Burning Crusade expansion, we definitely encounter corrupted draenei using shadow magic as mobs. Maybe survivors of this group decided to leave behind their destructive ways but found themselves unwelcome among their draenei brethren due to their fall, so they turned to the Horde instead.

Why?

Do you know who the eredar are?

Why exactly would they even seek to join either the Alliance or The Horde?
Makes little to no sense.
