Play with More Friends with Cross-Faction Guilds

Pandaren can chat to each other, so can blood elves and void elves.

What will happen if i’m the Guild Leader? how will this effect the rest of my guild other then some achievments and such? will other members that are horde still be able to invite horde without needing to have them Btag?

This is a huge let down unless it’s drastically improved, the only thing that should be effected from this is some faction achievements like listed and Warmode, why is it effecting open world with WM off? like for what reason is that necissary? if you’re trying to make it so Faction isn’t as important then make it more accesible rather then making players have to climb a hurdle just to join a guild with their friends just to be locked out of content with them for no reason…

You mean the Blood Elves won.

We outnumber all the Horde races combined. You should be thanking us as your proper superiors. The Horde would be dead without us.

If you could link us to the Blizzard communication that said they changed the auction house design because it was “cool”, that would be great. Since I doubt you can, I’m still scratching my head trying to understand who you think having 3 separate auction house systems on each realm was benefiting. Are you upset that you used to make a killing flipping items between factions for more profit? How would that support any kind of PvP activity?

This is a question? How long have you been away from the game?

This is a thing. People can buy an elixir that allows them to understand what a member of the opposite faction is saying, since…Legion?

This one isn’t going to happen. You’re batting 1 for 3.

how tf is cross faction queuing not included in this? you’re telling me I won’t be allowed to queue with my own guildmates for leveling or timewalking dungeons? we can’t lfr together? can’t do holiday dungeon stuff?

… honestly what? do you guys even understand how significantly this diminishes the value of this entire change? it needs to be something that is pushed to the top of the priority list as far as features go.

honestly idk why there are restrictions to inviting either? what the hell???

Can we trade items?

If I sound like something when you read my text on a forum you have way more issues than you’re aware of.

If the leader is a horde charecter, they can invite and search horde players normally. You only need b-tags for the opposite faction to join your guild.

So you cannot invite your own Horde alts into the guild if you’re Alliance?

“Players must be Battle.net friends or part of the same Battle.net community to invite or receive an invitation to an opposite-faction guild on the same realm.”

It does seem like it ya :frowning:

Then it is worthless to me!

Pretty much.

This is just b-net communities with added restrictions.

I think they did that on purpose btw, contempt against the community asking for them to add cross-faction guilds.

There are probably issues that haven’t been worked out yet.

This is one of the most childish ways of thinking. Drop the pity party and use some logic as to why there might be issues with this.

Agree… it went from Humans vs Orcs to Humans vs Blood Elves a long time ago

This is the same leadership that told the Alliance to play Horde if they wanted the real Elves. Now Alliance has a severe population disadvantage.

Such a joke. Nearly a year of feedback since Blizzard mentioned the feature. MAKE RANDOM DUNGEON QUEUES CROSS FACTION. How hard is it for them to get this, or at least communicate why this isn’t possible for some reason? I get it there are thousands of people, but in my line of work which is also in the entertainment industry, if I had a laundry list of clients with the same complaint, it would be at least mentioned. How hard is it to make a weekly post and go over topics that are hot in the community at any given time? Not asking for everything to be talked about, but ya know the things that get 90 likes everytime they are mentioned, and your own appointed community council has brought up many times.

Get your crap together, and talk to us. That and let your employees work from home.

Well it’s good we still have that divide. Even with Cross faction guilds I won’t be subjected to seeing targetable Alliance Humans in my Horde cities. (If I understand how this works correctly)
Oh…wait I mean untargetable Alliance Humans. sorry

Cross dungeons is possible. They just don’t wanna do it for some reason.
