They will cave, yes, specifically on letting people be in visage form more. The rest of that will either be in the “too hard” category or the “we know whats best for you” category.
In the distant future, maybe at the end of the expansion, maybe next expansion, they might give Dracthyr true flight. And dor bonus points, if they do that, they will also cave to the DHs and give them flight, too. If they don’t give true flight, they’ll probably cave to the DHs and give them soar anyway.
- Dracthyr flying?
- I think they should have flying but not an insta mount like druids. Can even use the soar crouch and launch for it but it needs a channel like normal mounting. And it only goes as fast as your flying skill. None of this soar super speed though.
- Transmog changes?
- I’m not sure what this is exactly. Is this them wanting their dragon form to show armor? If so, then if they do cave, they need to do it for the mechagnome players that wanted something similar. No one-sided stuff here.
- Multiple visage form options?
- Not sure on this either. Is this them having options to pick any race for their form? If so, I am all for that and don’t understand why it didn’t happen outside of just more work.
- Ability range increase?
- I don’t think they should get an ability range increase. If they do, then they have to do some nerfing because they have some powerful spells as is and to give them more range just makes it worse.
- Soaring cooldown decrease?
- Yes. It makes no sense that the cooldown only starts when you land. It totally removes the fun from the ability. It should start as soon as you use the ability so that if you’re soaring long enough you can just use it again when you land.
And give it a debuff where you can’t farm stuff for X amount of time after soaring if you’re worried about farmers though with the CD as is I don’t see that as a problem.

Well it won’t be based on forum complaints since the forums contain a small percentage of players and are very high on people who want to complain about something.
They will probably look at their stats, see how many people are playing the Dracthyr, see how they are playing them and go from there.

I have the feeling there’s gonna be a pretty big drop off once people get tired of not being able to use transmogs and being forced to use a visage form they don’t like (I hate the human models in WoW so much), only being able to look like a male dragon, all dracthyr being so samey (all other races have two different models with different animations and emotes. Dracs are all the same).
Dracthyr are the laziest, most corner-cut race in the history of the game, and I think over time people will realize that and drift away from them unless Blizz unlazyfies them over time.
I don’t understand. Why would you not want a better product with more options?

I think they’ll drop to just barely above Monk in popularity. The boredom factor will come swift and severe unless Blizzard improves them over time. I’m sure they will though, but with that said… Has there been any indication they will? Have they said as much? Esp in regards to transmog? I’ll admit I haven’t kept up on the news and promises.
Shh they don’t understand WoW players making fun of furry races is equivalent of two dweebs fumble fighting each other at the chess club meetup.

This one, I’m fine if they don’t go back and fix every transmog item in the game, I fully understand that’s a massive undertaking. BUT, that’s no excuse for evoker tier sets moving forward, those should be fully mogable.
This is something I was surprised they didn’t do, you didn’t need to add custom customization to human/elfs, just let them pick any race (faction locked) and let them have that race’s default selection, done and done.
The range is what makes the evoker interesting, I actually like it a lot.
Same as above, give us fully powered soar in the Dragon Isle, normal 310% in old content.

To be fair, blizzard thought the same thing, you would automatically shift into your visage form when you mounted, they changed that on player request.

fly = to dragon riding? if the complains keep going thru the 1st patch it will probably happen .

No, they will not. Dracthyr are what Blizzard wants them to be, no matter how players feel about that.
if they increase their range they have to take out or tremendously increase cooldown of their mobility because that range is balanced around that, if not then its the antimelee class and too OP.
