There needs to be action against Time Rift leeches.
Make the pillars either kill people who sit on them longer than 20 seconds or start putting bans on people who afk the content.

Maybe the first part… You are never going to get the second part. Plus it’s not reasonable. Bans are for major infractions not things that annoy you slightly.

If they do anything, it should just be to make the awards personal.
Such as you have to tag a mob to fill your bar, not just be there.

then they have to heavy limit the # of players and get the lag under control… its hard to hit some things let alone get anywhere to make the rewards personal based

I’m not sure I’m understanding the request here.
Are you asking to punish people who are AFKing in the open world?
The boxes are not the best source of rep or flakes, it’s from the final boss and being active on your assigned tasks. They’re making the process longer on themselves, and I really think the effect on the rest of the people in the zone is negligible.

I’m sitting on a rock AFK because I can passively get flakes while doing work. But I’d rather be actively farming the rift because I’d get more flakes faster.

Well, I found out if you arrive in the middle of the event, you can’t start it or see the hourglass count and stuff blows up pretty quickly.
This could be why some people are on the pillars.
I’m trying to get achevs done only reason I do rifts now. Boffins should be a pet not a toy.
Put mobs on the pillars that knocks them off that’ll be funny.
Not an acceptable excuse.
AFK players in the event need to be booted or killed by the pillar or mobs.
With instance limits those players are not limiting rewards and leeching off of others.
Ban them or kill their characters.

naaaa You just need to either deal with it or stop doing rifts if it bothers you sooo much. It does not keep you from getting anything at all. Either way this is all a you issue. now go back to your corner and think about your problem. P.S.
