I’m not a min/maxer. Probably do normal/heroic raids and low key mythic+. Just don’t want to be kicked out of content for picking broken abilities.
You’d be better off going Kyrian for general purpose casual keys and raiding.
Kyrian is great fun for Prot
I find it blah for Fury (haven’t really tried anything other than Venthyr though)
As far as AoTC/KSM, you’ll be fine with any of the 4.
NF is great for keys because it’s like a great interrupt/knock down. But Kyrian is great as well for its own damage with spear + the increase to Crit for insane burst with Recklessness + Spear + leggo
For casual play, you can pick whatever covenant you want.

yep, but Kyrian is good all around, Night Fae for picking up random soul shapes. Necro and Venthyr if you’re emo.
NF is as rounded as kyrian is.
Just do NOT play Venthyr prot.
Venthyr prot would have so much more merit with furys version of execute + sudden death. It still wouldn’t be great but it would be usable
