You’d be shocked then.
I wouldn’t doubt that our PCs could stand toe to toe against a good chunk of Marvel, but Marvel is also on the lower powerscale when compared to something like DC or Dragonball. We’d probably get wiped out by the majority of the 40k universe.
Also, we’re not that strong, we get quests where we need to kill X amount of bears and the bears put up fairly good fights.
Lorewise we didn’t kill Argus either, which is why in the cutscene for sealing the sword, it was a bunch of npc characters from other classes.
To be fair, they had to do that because they cant show a player character for each role, since there is so many of us.
Right but lorewise it was the npcs that killed him.

Not really, the Emperor is supposed to be top dog in Warhammer 40k, and even he was vulnerable to physical damage, as Horus mauled him (physically and with warp magic).
As for the Chaos gods, all we need to do is find some of that necron tech and have the goblins and gnomes reproduce those pylons that neutralize the warp.
Space Marines, as depicted more recently, are fodder and only somewhat above normal humans. We kill things way more powerful than them casually.
It’s a good thing Necrons are down with sharing technology with strangers.
How would we get within range of space marines when they can just cyclonic torpedo us from space?
I don’t suspect that the Vindicaar would have a chance at getting us close enough to board anything from 40k.
Also I don’t think we’d be able to defeat Orks when a scourge invasion threatens all life on the planet.

pretty sure the ceph from crysis would have wiped out all life on azeroth within a few weeks without even breaking a sweat. Only one that would give them a run for their money is the draenei because of their space ship.
actually even the covenant from halo would win easily, they could just glass the planet making the legion look like a bunch of amateurs.
