I think a lot of folks here are missing some points, that or just ignoring what they don’t like.
1 - It doesn’t matter which faction is in the majority, when 10 players just jump one or two of the other side, there is no gameplay in that. It’s just a beatdown.
2- It doesn’t matter if you rolled a PvP server, getting face smashed by over a dozen players from the opposing faction can’t be dealt with. Not when they camp the FP’s and even the GY’s. The point is, there is no in game solution to this that an individual player can utilize.
3- Last point. It’s about playtime. When players can’t play, and they have no reasonable way to deal with the issue, they stop playing. I’ve already heard from a few friends who are going to unsub for a month or two until BG’s are out.
Nobody minds PvP. I rolled on a PvP server to PvP. But what is currently happening is not gameplay. It’s just a sad example of Blizz again not being able to implement a way to make sure the pvp servers are faction balanced. Like tell a player rolling horde on a server that the server is full for that faction, or vice versa for alliance on some servers. Blizz has never had the guts to actually go that far and over time it hurts the gameplay for their customers.
And no, things don’t have to be perfect. But, when either faction actually denies the other side the ability to play then Blizz really needs to understand what they will lose in the end.
