It’s possible it will be rolled into a bunch of fixes they’ve put into the next patch? I’m not sure WHY they’ve said some bugs will be fixed in the patch rather than doing them now … or perhaps they’re just kicking that bucket down the road …
Keeps people on the hook paying sub fees while they hope for a fix for their problem.
Sure, they COULD fix it. . .but they COULD restore the gbanks they deleted. . .but will they?
They haven’t given us any reason to believe them at this point, no trust, no faith whatsoever.

Hopefully this will be fixed next Tuesday when 11.0.7 comes out. I won’t be holding my breath. The fact that Blizzard deleted millions of items worth billions of gold from the game from people’s guild banks and then replied with “Oops” is unbelievable.

When they break something, they really should try to fix it. Guess this bug is on their maybe-someday list if they even care at all.

This needs to be on their absolutely-soon list.
It’s infuriating and downright dumb. It worked great for years.
Of course, I also lost dozens of pets with 11.0 in an alt bank, and only now have a small stash re-earned since to sell, only to see cages when in a bank. But still… that doesn’t make seeing cages, rather than actual pets (as it was for YEARS) any less… silly.

I guess this may not have a huge impact on the average player, but it has had a tremendous impact on me. I have one guild bank with 7 tabs of pets sorted by type. I previously added and removed pets into these organized tabs based on selling them or acquiring new ones. I can no longer do this.
My only options are to take them out one-by-one to identify which pet it is, or not use my guild bank and keep all pets in character inventories. I have too many pets for this to be practical, nor do I want to go through all the work to do this. So I’ve just stopped using that guild bank altogether. My previous inventory management system is gone.
So no, it’s not gamebreaking, but it has greatly reduced one source of gold for me and pets for other players.

I wouldn’t worry about them too much - Blizzard will probably wipe the contents of your guild vault soon, anyway 
(I hope they don’t … but they do have form for this now).
But in all seriousness … it’s starting to impact our guild too, in a lesser way. We have a tab that is normally full of battle pets for guild members to exchange. A lot of them got deleted when the guild vaults were wiped, so we’d just started building them back up again - and now other than one or two exceptions, they are all generic “crates”. No-one can see what’s there so we can’t use it.
We have a tab for transmogs/gear too - and that is also bugged.
So the culmination of these three bugs is that our guild hardly ever uses the guild vault anymore. It used to be pretty central to helping people level up professions and prepping for raids, but not anymore. This is probably something Blizzard are hoping for … bearing in mind they seem to have a dislike for guilds these days.

THISSSSSS -Extending for character limit… or, I could add quote to em-pha-sis, more than an emoji. I know it’s low man on bugs to fix; but from what I hear, sub costs have enough room for salary and man power to fix it. <3
