For the event how about an optional 5v5?
Are you talking 5 pets each battling or you bring 5 pets and you pick 3 from that to make your team?
I could go for the latter, but not the former. 5 pets would take forever since you could easily budget for a tank and an AOE healer. All the switching would mean 15-20 minute battles. Yuck.

Meh 20 minutes is a stretch. I think it’d be a pretty fun and exciting change to look forward to during the pet battle event.
