No you shouldn’t. The raid loot system is group loot you get group loot
But it’s not.
No it’s not.
So is personal loot.
Tell us you don’t know how pl works without telling us you don’t know how pl works
We traded smart loot for the ability to trade loot more easily. So net, we’re getting lower quality of loot. Personal Loot was better.
No, we traded random trash loot system for a system that guilds can control.
Tell me you dont actually know how personal loot works without telling me.
Alright, so you have no idea what you’re talking about. Thanks for clearing that up. Smart loot refers to the fact the personal loot had the drops tailored to the group. No hunter in group = no bows drop.
Group loot is dumb. It’ll drop a glaive with no DH, bows with no hunter, mystic tier with no mystic classes.
And it can drop 4 necks too. Theres a reason PL was hated.
Then your raid leader is terrible at organization.
Ah yes, because with 10 man group content where you can literally not have every class present, it’s the raid leaders fault. Making a class selection based on an arbitrary loot system is awful. Defending that is ludicrous.
Game isnt balanced around 10 man raids. If you choose not to have a decent sized roster thats your decision.
Defending PL just shows that you dont understand how the loot system works.
Personal Loot?
Just…
No…
If we go back to PL it’s just one more addon I have to reinstall.
The only true loot is from the Vault or your lucky friend you keep roping into keys with you.
It is our decision. It’s Blizzard’s decision to allow it. It’s also their decision to make an objectively worse loot system. And it’s your decision to try and defend that with ad-hominem attacks out of the gate and no actual data, scenarios, or anything to back it up. Personal loot was also not perfect, but making loot tradeable with PL was miles better than reintroducing GL.
I do think that they could have improved personal loot instead of removing it, but group loot is what we have now. It comes with its own problems and frustrations. The toxicity isn’t usually between 2 people over loot, but over the system as a whole. It’s one thing to have RNG say “Nope, not this week”, but it’s another to watch as loot slips through your fingers in real time.
So deal with the consequences
Its fine if there is flex raiding, just know that Blizz doesnt balance around flex raiding.
Considering PL is the worst loot system in this games history…
What attack? Exactly what data have you presented?
People know you dont know what you are talking about when you say things like this.
The main difference between the two is that PL rolls are invisible.
Right, but it can be even more frustrating for some people by actually seeing it. That’s my point.
Which for some doesn’t work, because it bugs out from time to time and Blizz won’t give you the loot back.
So not a good solution.
And no one should have to resort to such things. Especially when it rarely happens, though I haven’t seen it at all, with group loot.
As someone that has lost heroic Essence twice while I rolled a 94 and a 96 I understand it happens. Its called not throwing a tantrum.
You immediately jump to saying I don’t know what I’m saying (ad-hominem) despite explicitly stating what my issue is with it. I’m telling you that dumb loot is worse, and you just ignore that and then try to make some ridiculous statement that they don’t balance around flex raiding despite them literally doing that. I’m telling you a bow dropping when there isn’t a hunter present is bad. Hunters bring no added value right now, it’s not a bad decision to not seek one out. The fact that because of a bad loot system, I’m incentivized to invite a specific class that adds nothing to my raid comp is evidence it’s a dumb system. You want more control. That doesn’t necessitate group loot. Think for literally 3 seconds to understand any of this.
Thats why you learn enchanting
“Hey man that axe would look sweet for my Mog can you give it to me?”
disenchanting ping
“Axe? What axe?”
