Please restore the option for personal loot. Group loot is flawed and makes the experience not fun for most situations, people are toxic and greedy and hit need on pretty much everything they can even if they do not need it. I get guilds want to use masterloot/group loot and that’s fine and great for them. However if it is a pug group please give the option for personal loot. #feelsbad

You mean the ones who consistently did this for personal loot and I’ve never seen this with group loot?
Yes, those ones.
There was a way around it with personal loot.
You simply don’t pick it up. Grab only your gold or whatever else drops and let the postmaster do the rest.

IMO I should be allowed to opt in for personal loot. You are all entitled to your opinions however. I am not going to sit here and say toxic things like deal with it and flat out no. I personally enjoyed personal loot. It is easy to see what/when per say a lock is wearing 441 boots with bis stats and takes 428 same rank boots? Seems fair.
Edit: it so much better now that cross realm trading for gold can happen so people are literally selling pieces. /sarcasm

Agreed, Group Loot sucks.
It’s dumb which is the most annoying part. Don’t have a hunter? Enjoy this bow. DH on vacation? Here’s a glaive.
Does your guild have a bunch of venerated token users this season? How about you get 3 venerated tokens total in the first 3 weeks of the season.
The amount of loot that got thrown in the trash on my guild’s first few clears was egregious. *The tier distribution is the part that makes this so much worse than personal loot. Because we don’t get catalyst for 6+ weeks and raid is the primary way of getting tier, it ends up being a massive consideration when choosing which char to play. And I gotta say, picking characters based on tier tokens or feeling bad for not picking chars based on tier tokens is pretty frustrating.

they can roll for loot if they opted for group loot, those that opt for personal loot wouldn’t get to roll on what dropped. If they didn’t win means they didn’t get loot for that boss but they also can’t roll for it either or be traded loot too. As for the trading that will be re-enabled don’t worry.
I agree. Personal loot was just better than group loot. We need to get away from RNG loot entirely but until that happens personal loot is the best option. Group loot is inherently toxic and frustrating.
