And none of them say what you said, maybe you should try reading it!
PL never guaranteed anyone got an item out of a raid. The more items that drop improve the chances each player gets good enough rolls to win, but it was fully possible for you to full clear a raid and not see an item.
-
There are protections in the GL system. You cannot roll need on an item that you have the same item at the same or higher item level. So for instance, if I queue for LFR with heroic tier helm, I cannot roll need on a roll on the helm tier token in LFR.

Anyone has the possibility to win multiple items off a boss. Itâs perfectly reasonable to prefer each person to only be able to win 1 item off each boss, and Iâm not going to say youâre wrong for thinking so. But from a pure loot chance point of view, any boss could see you walk away with multiple items.
This is unfair. A lot of people who advocate for personal loot make completely asinine comments about how it supposedly worked as the basis of the reason why itâs better than group loot. I will never try to tell someone who understands how personal loot worked that liked it better than group or master loot theyâre wrong for that preference. But many times the things they claim about personal loot were just as bad or even worse at loot distribution for the argument they make that I will try to correct.
There was no BLP system in Shadowlands personal loot. In fact, when most people try to explain how the BLP supposedly worked, they come up with something that is mathematically impossible.
Group loot gives better chances on average in LFR than personal loot because of the restrictions on need roll.
This is the result of cross-realm gold trading, not the change to group loot. Personal loot would make this problem even worse.
Why would you believe someone telling you to transmog if you wanted to roll need? If you actively contributed to effectively passing on an item, itâs hard to claim that was a ninja.
Again, if both of you share the argument of âeveryone should take anything they can get their hands on in LFR and to hell with people who are trying to gear upâ then my post isnât really for you and nothing I say is going to change your mind. Youâre both just greedy players and exactly the type of people who benefit from Group Loot and make people like myself prefer Personal Loot.
Rolling on items you need isnât greedy, and you do not understand how personal loot worked, so to say that you prefer it is absurd.
Seems like you could easily shut the Snozster up by showing the dictionary that says they are. (Printed in blue obviously)
No, Iâm not. And stealing doesnât always describe illegal theft anyway. People can steal ideas or guitar riffs, for example. If you think itâs not wrong, thatâs fine, but you canât block the discussion with the âthereâs no word that describes that behaviour therefore youâre wrongâ card.
Youâre now even saying that calling someone greedy, for needing items they donât intend to equip and use, but to sell, is definitionally incorrect. Itâs absurd and the âwords mean exactly what I want them to and nothing elseâ argument is getting old.
Blizzard doesnât consider it âninja lootingâ as far as their TOS and actionable behavior. That said, they also donât consider camping âgriefingâ using the same definition and most of the community does. So regardless of what Blizzardâs official stance on it is, itâs not wrong to say that itâs ninja looting when thatâs how the community sees it.
Well, donât use words like âninjaâ to describe one argument now you can say that theyâre rude sobsâŚ
But one canât ninja loot in the world of Warcraft, itâs impossibleâŚ
And again, personal loot wonât solve your problems⌠and every Tuesday youâre guaranteed one piece.
They are ninja looters. They are greedy. The fact that you defend them tells me enough about your own character.
I still got a piece on Tuesdays in Shadowlands as well as a much better loot system so thatâs a non-argument.
Then everyone should be happy that weâre using ninja to describe people who go into LFR overgeared, need on everything, and sell the loot to people who need upgrades, since the word ninja didnât describe anything before, itâs perfect.
Point out in any of my posts where I defended someone that needed on everything⌠ill wait
Personal loot did not behave as you believe that it did.
They are not.
The fact you need to make up entire arguments and opposed points to argue against is generally a good sign that you have no basis upon which to make your claim. Ninja looting used to be possible, it is no longer possible.
You defend them by advocating for group loot to allow them to continue doing it.
Oh so youâre the type of person that. Equates if a certain short mustache person Owned German shepherds And if you own German shepherds, you must be that type of person tooâŚ
Not advocating for anything Iâm just saying personal loot is not going to solve your problemâŚ
And blizzard already has bad luck protection. You get the vault every Tuesday
I used to have mixed thoughts about it⌠but the few LFR wings I did on DF and how people behave with it⌠Iâve complete changed my mind about it. Personal loot should be back. And I hope the people that is abusing it with malicious intent do get their toy removed.
If I call someone who idolizes that German guy a word starting with N (not that one) and you argue with me that âactually technically thatâs only a person who belongs to that specific political party that doesnât exist anymoreâ you are defending them by obfuscating the severity of their behavior.
LFR loot should work like LFR loot in Remix.
Also, again, we had the great vault alongside personal loot. Personal loot would solve my problems in LFR, they did for years before people whined about having PL in guild raids and Blizzard made the stupid spiteful decision to implement group loot across the board. They could have left LFR how it was, how it works better.
It wouldnât there will be weeks where you wouldnât get jack out of it.
Statistically, you would have a better chance With the loot system now.
It extremely would not, you do not understand what the actual differences are between personal and group loot, youâve complained about them removing bad luck protection that wasnât a thing instead.
