They aren’t… thats the whole point… Blizzard has been reversing the bans left and right… you’re just one of the many “exploit experts” that magically popped up when the bans went out, assumed you were a genius, then got pie in your face when you were proven wrong, and Blizzard went on an unbanning frenzy with apologies.
Most twinks (self included) were never even banned to begin with and the few that were have since been unbanned… sorry if that disproves you being an “exploit expert”.
Anyways, i think im going to go que for a few more timewalking and continue helping folks gain xp, just like Blizzard allows.
The forums is full of people crying over nothing which is why I did a good job avoiding it until very recently during the ban wave to see perspectives.
Almost 90% of the twinks I know who got banned for hacking have been unbanned. Most of them also did lots of VERY grey area methods for better gear that I won’t disclose in public but confirms nearly every ‘smart use of in game mechanic’ most likely even including the addon (which I’m still personally avoiding) is allowed. There are still unban posts in discord coming in today meaning ban appeals are coming out slowly yet steadily. I am happy this entire thing has had a positive resolution over all.
I’m with you on this one. Although most people I know have gotten their accounts back the lack of communication is disappointing. I understand not communcating every small wrongful ban that happens but this was a large wave that affected many people who were doing similar activities.
Boosting is 100% not against TOS. If it had been dragon flight boosting would have been nerfed first week and it was like 500% faster than tw boosting.
this part protects you in that scenerio. i seriously doubt anyone believes your statement that they could be banned for exploiting when they legit queued randomly.
I never understood why that degenerate thought he had the moral high ground on that when the entire time he too had multiple store mounts in his collection. And I’m not talking about bundled preorder mounts either.
