Permabans for bypassing the XP debuff. What are we doing?

The GMs work all Blizzard games, not just one. There could be a problem with the ticket pathing, but people make mistakes. AI would’ve picked up that you were asking about Hearthstone and given you an answer relevant to Hearthstone.

Your entire premise is pinned on the assumption that every single Blizzard employee who has ever spoken on the subject, here and elsewhere, is lying. All of them. For…reasons? What would they possibly have to gain by denying that they used AI for moderation? Just to mess with people?

They’ve even said that they don’t know how things will go in the future with the Microsoft acquisition and that when queues are high you’ll often get an auto-response at first with general help.

I’m not talking about the macro or other strange ways to get into the same group together. I’m talking about queue syncing (everyone queues, and if the queue pops at the same time, they all take it) which as I said in another response, if that’s a bannable action, why haven’t all the BG PvP communities been banned? They went as far as to build addons to do this for the PvP communities.

And again, we’re only talking about this period because for some reason, XP locked characters can queue at all. Why is it okay for them to queue and be grouped with 4 randoms, but HOW DARE they end up in a group with friends / family / guildies (no matter how that happens, that’s why I said technically if that’s bannable, even if it’s RANDOM it’s still bannable right?)

I’ll believe someone who has worked in the field for 40 years over someone who has gaslighted before.

You’d think it would have. Not all AI is… I

That’s a very interesting strawman, but I’ll bite. I’m not insinuating everyone is lying. But the same goes for the opposition. Assuming that players are all liars but Blizzard is infallible is just plain gullibility.

how is that a strawman in any way? do you even know what it is?

Que syncing should be bannable , but they aren’t bypassing a system specifically put in place like the xp debuff and exploiting it.

Again… this is about twinks finding a way around removing the XP debuff for the group. Not gold making boosts because a dungeon happened to give more XP.

I keep pointing that out and they keep ignoring it. :woman_facepalming:

Again, you are just here to stir up drama. Did you even read the post I responded to?

Please explain to me how giving you information is stirring up drama. Telling you what the thread is about is not dramatic.

Fooler already explained this, as well.

Working as intended.

This person has not worked at blizzard OR in the AI industry for 40 years. Neither have even existed that long, and working in marketing for decades means absolutely nothing, as he also has no insight into how blizzard works unless he is there himself.

LOL, this entire thread you’ve been responding tone deaf to everyone telling us what the “title of the thread is” and inserting your foot in your mouth by responding to things where you very clearly didn’t even read what you’re responding to, just have to stick to the party line of “This thread is about X.” How dare anyone talk about anything related, off topic, etc.

So if bypassing the XP debuff by queue syncing should be bannable, than why allow the twink to queue at all?

Explain the difference between a level 11 queueing for a dungeon and getting in with 4 random players and completing it in 5 minutes vs a level queueing with 4 friends / family / guildmates and clearing the dungeon in 5 minutes?

What if the 4 friends / family / guildmates had just queued together and randomly got put in a with a level 11 twink? Should they get punished for that too?

Why not Just disable the ability for XP disabled characters to queue for dungeons, that would have solved the issue without having to ban players?

I just don’t get it, but i’m sure you’re going to tell me again how this isn’t what the thread is about (after you read about 3 words of my reply).

Ah good thing I asked.

I wanted to go through the Dragonflight campaign fully before moving on to TWW so I was unsure of which level would be best to halt my XP.

I’ve been giving the information that we know about what’s going on.

You tried to equate running Brackenhide to exploiting an XP debuff.

I’m not telling you what the title of the thread is. I’m telling you what others have figured out on why people got banned.

It wasn’t because they were simply a twink. It wasn’t because they were level 11 or anything else. It was because they specifically found a way to get around a debuff by doing a song and a dance. That’s an exploit.

Neither of those instances are someone purposely leaving, using macros, or whatever song and dance there is to figure out an exploit.

This has already been explained specifically in reply to you in this thread how that all works with random groups.

And Mira even gave a breakdown of what we know as well.

I’m not sure how many more times this can all be explained.

And I don’t know why. It’s all right there in black and white.

Just don’t reply. Flag and ignore. Once someone is clear that they’re not intending to have a genuine conversation, I just stop replying. They’re clearly just trying to wind you up. All that does is bloat the thread.

Again, walking your high horse, and avoiding answering a single question. Instead post a bunch of stuff that I already know. Thanks though, just more posts for me to report you for.

Meanwhile, you two are the #1 and 2 most active users in the thread. This is low energy bait.

I don’t understand the need to exploit or how someone can convince a person to pay money or gold to make the easiest and fastest activity in the game even faster.

When it comes to exploits, there is no limit or boundaries. People will do it to skip the most menial tasks.

I gave you the information we know. I quoted for you the information on what you asked. Your questions were answered.

So you’re just false flagging now, simply because you aren’t happy that you were given answers to your questions you refuse to acknowledge? Sure thing.
