Permaban Rogue & MW Monk players

   and players wonder why the devs / mods dont even bother to visit these forums. LMAO!!! This is a perfect exmaple.

Neither of them are going to die outside of a stun go, if they get caught in a bad spot unless they’re overtuned they’re both instantly dead which is why this is the not a good argument

There’s a CD on frenzy regen too

Technically so does shifting like that.

I mean learn to max distance heal near enough to your teleport, watch to see enemy positioning and really keep an eye on the stun bot, and after you track cds congratulations as a mw you should be now the last to die.

Yeah pmuch this, MWs aren’t really ever going to die if they don’t want to. Any high mobility healer with high hps isn’t going to die unless they’re entirely feeding so it’s a completely pointless argument

The only difference is at the end of the day Rdruid can be more than just a heal bot and can actually make plays to contribute in the game (but the way their healing has worked this xpac just makes it so if they’re overtuned they can just do whatever they want which is kind of stupid to begin with too), as a MW your only job is really just to heal.

Classic, another gross over simplification. A mwer has to have much more forethough about things like port placement. They also have to be much better at kiteing than a rdruid, remember, they dont have a snare removal on a gcd. Makes it much easier to re position as a rdruid.

A healers job is to heal you say, thats why mwer is easier? Thats some pretty shotty logic man.

That’s an opinion and not even a popular one.

However roll propels you at a speed of 276% movement in under 2 seconds. Druid doesn’t have an option of propulsion like that since they took displacer away.

Forethought? What is there to think about, start of match drop your port around a pillar. Watch to see where the fight takes you and reposition teleport as needed.

Also Ring of peace is a very powerful answer to stay off me in so many ways, even stronger if you drop it on pillars or walls or lure them into rooms like RoL or blackrook arenas and drop rop to prevent them from getting out.

I dont think you grasp the importance of a snare removal and poly immunity on gcd. unreal man.

Yes good point in that mwer is more skillful.

Man you’re oversimplifying Rdruid things and are super offended that MW isn’t as next level as you think it is. You realize for most other healers there are plenty of concious choices you have to make in the game and most good MWs complain about it being boring since you’re just healing the entire game. There’s very little contribution to a kill as MW.

Port placements are fairly basic though, idk how you’re overcomplicating it that hard.

Powershifting kind of died out with forms having a cd. Most melee, if not all have a spamable slow and can easily tell when the druid is just shifting away.
Can take advantage of this by having the other dps partner (if range) stop popping off on the dps forcing the druid to stop or potentially put them into a kill window.

Immunity to poly is great and all, but that can be taken advantage of and niche for just shamans and mage.

No it’s an example of an ability that has a ton of utility, nothing skill about luring them into a trap like that.

You can step cheap out of form. You can also bait them to shift form by walking or casting poly out of form to force globals or snag cds on druid before your go is ready. These are things druid needs to be aware of when mages/shammys/dks are casting poly/hex.

I’ve also gotten saps on druids in the 1900-2000mmr bracket that just stay in bear/cat/deer and try to line poly/cheap/blind or don’t get in combat after kidney in form during a go 41+ yards away from kill target.

y do people like getting into arguments with dilly about game knowledge/mechanics all it does is make u look really foolish

This is just bait, right? I haven’t seen an opinion this wrong since Borders said that Amazon wasn’t gonna go anywhere or Blockbuster saying Netflix would never take off. Also, is this ruffle guy the OP too, or just another guy who doesn’t know how to admit he’s wrong and would rather die on a hill of ignorance than say “oh okay, my bad”?

I mean you clearly aren’t particularly great in arena because MWer flops faster than pretty much every other healer in the game in a stun.

I mean if you’ve played MWer amongst other healers in arena like i’m assuming you have you’d know exactly what he’s talking about when he says MWer just sits back and heals.

You really don’t contribute much to the game outside of total avoidance and mana efficiency, and awareness of positioning, never getting boxed out and always shifting to the backside of your teammates. That’s the skill cap for Mistweaver. Sitting max range of your wizards and using your mobility to avoid CC and using no mana. You can move in for Encaps and sweeps but honestly most of the time sacrificing your position @ the pillar for CC generally isn’t worth it.

I definitely don’t like the hate that MWer gets for being an “easy” healer but the reality is they just don’t have a broad enough toolkit for you to make the argument that their skillcap is on par with a shaman or druid that just objectively have a dozen more ways they can contribute to the arena.

Seems reasonable.

I started off with some good natured trolling around but then kinda actually got into the debate. To Disagree is foolish. Interesting argument you have there, but actually the only foolish thing here is to just rollover anytime someone disagrees with you. But talking about a game and which is most skillful healer, thats not really a clear cut answer.

Its any healers first priority to ‘just sit back and heal’. Your chances to win the arena match go drastically down if one person on your team drops. Really bad point.

Is that why iv been higher rated on mistweaver than you then? Makes so much sense now. B/c mwer has some really clutch times to go get cc or incap the off target to give your team a clean go.

rdruids really just inst all that skillcapped. Rshammy/disc/hpal are way harder healers.

that’s not what i said at all nice strawman

ig u can have ur weird viewpoint and weird opinions

ok w/e u say

Maybe its just because I play with randoms or primarily in 2s, but I feel like if I just sit back and pve heal on my MW, games don’t usually go too well. I actually feel like if I want to win, I have to do a lot to help enable kills with RoP, incap/stun, etc.

I have at some point played pretty much every healer, and I’ve never really felt like Druid was ever the hardest or “highest skill cap.” Usually if and when I have played Rdruid, its been one of the easier healers to pick up and do well with.

In the current iteration of WoW, I think it’s a pretty tough decision to make a claim as to which is the highest skill cap, because I think they’re all pretty easy and most rely on your knowledge of your opponents then on your own class.

I think certain people pick up specific specs/classes quicker than others do, and vice versa.
