Also, Blackrock Foundry was released ahead of the 6.1 patch, by like maybe a month. It was probably intended to be a 6.1 raid, and even if it wasn’t, it was released late enough in 6.0 and was intended to last through 6.1 that it might as well be its own tier.

Remember when BRF came out and people just weren’t doing it and were running Highmaul instead, to the extent that Blizzard put in a hotfix to increase the ilvl of BRF gear?

Did forget about that, yes. Guess WoD was just a weird wildcard expansion because everything about Blackrock Foundry just screamed next tier of raiding over Highmaul, yet they also released it before 6.1 and had to have an ilvl buff to encourage people to do it over Highmaul.

Let’s just call it a draw and agree that WoD was a messed up expansion:p

why are they calling it permanent?
it says 1 hour buff?

it’s a 5min cooldown item that gives you an hour buff. Using the item will not consume it rather just stay in your bag which you can keep using where right now augment runes are a 1 time consumption that disappear after 1hr or when you die

It’ll depends really on what type of content your using it for. If you’re only doing low level content they I wont recommend buying them. If you’re doing high level content then it’s really up to you if you think it’s worth buying. But same time I will also say at high level every small percent count

If you’re doing high level content then it’s really up to you if you think it’s worth buying.

It is absolutely worth buying, I buy it every expansion and so do most people I play with. I even made a weakaura to alert me when I don’t have it active.

People might argue “it’s only a small buff” but it’s a small buff you get ALL THE TIME. That makes it well worth it.

I agree but if you’re only doing WQ or time walking then honestly it’s a waste of 100k.
