Perhaps people actually want WoW 2?

I bet Overwatch 2 will be the last Blizzard game. So forget about WoW 2.

If time and money were spent on a new engine then surely a whole lot of features and content would be available correctly from the get go. The game would be all fresh and new given the freedom of creating the game from the ground up.

After looking at toxic forums for years I came to this conclusion this morning. Nobody is happy with the game. People are content with the game. There are secret forums for people to really express there ideas for how things should be for everyone else. People already hate expansions before they come out and they hate the current game as much.

This game really is just a make nobody offended or unhappy universal system. Every expansion shows an attempt to make everyone happy. That is impossible!
Universal, no offense to anyone, stuff is boring!

Perhaps Blizzard needs to make a new game. Wow 2 have you. However your team makes the game and express their art and challenges. If you come up with something great people will play. Making something for everyone is very dull though.

Here’s the thing: even in the years where WoW kept growing, the forums were filled with ‘WoW is dying’ posters.

If you go by the forums, then WoW is the worst game ever, and every change Blizzard makes will only contribute to that.

It isn’t that bad.

The thing is, the people happy with the game don’t come to the forums. So yeah, even WoW 2 forums would be a cesspool of nagativity.

You’ll never get a WoW 2 because expansions serve the same – and probably even a better – function from a business standpoint.
