Definitely. I suspect he’ll enjoy Tazivesh as well.
OP, you need to work in your reading comprehension. What you quoted was me defending you and saying that everyone is free to enjoy the game as they see fit.
I was responding to a poster who said that you need to learn that the real game is endgame and stop trying to experience dungeons.
just play TBCC and WOTLKC after that
But what I’m saying is the truth. You will experience the same dungeons at cap at harder versions so why try the easier ones
They will change their stance after they get a 100% new crew on plaguefall.
Or the 100% new crew to hoa. Nothing like watching low gears trying to nuke the dude on the way to boss 4 and failing at it. Over and over…
Dudes…our gear sucks and I burned the lust. We have to kill ALL that trash he is draining HP from.
These days 1 or 2 good gears that dude is nuked nice. Its a blessing. First week at expac start when everyone’s gear sucked that part was just bad. Chamberlain was not the final boss…that draining dude was. Chamberlain was cake really.
Sorry if I join a dungeon and ruin your experience, but if it’s normal/heroic on this shaman and I have to just kill 4 dungeon bosses in 10 minutes or less for a calling I’m gonna queue up. I will let you pull and try hold back but it’s going to be fast.
FFXIV has a good system, but is jarring and boring to me if I get scaled down. I hate losing my abilities because I queued for duty roulette, it’s just not fun gameplay IMO, just reduce my ilvl.
There is no real solution to this problem that I see being good for everyone other than not give geared players a reason to do normal/heroic at max level and way beyond the ilvl needed. For example, if callings are always do 3 WQ, then I’m never queueing for a N/H heroic again. That’s the simplest change I can think of without doing much of anything different.
If the content is not hard enough then its time for you to try more difficult content. Right now you are playing content that is intended to be won by anyone that is not actively afk.
Its going to suck until you hit level cap but then you have heroics (which also die extremely fast,) mythics were you can make a group and take only low ilvl players and M+ which will scale to whatever you find difficult. At even a +15 on tyrannical weeks bosses are taking 3-5 min to kill.
If you see this as a problem, I would suggest joining an expansion at the start as there are fewer people who are geared/skilled enough to do massive pulls or solo the instance.
I also keep an eye on the healers mana bar, but have noticed that not everyone is that aware of their fellow party members.
I notice.
But I am dps who doesn’t want to hurt tanks fragile ego by telling them to slow the hell down since healz needs a water break in game.
Sometimes its fun to watch the tank die in a fire. Some even go damn…I guess I should let healz get mana back, huh?
Sometimes you can fix ego induced stupidity. Sometimes…
Usually not though…that’s what Darwin is for.
IME duty roulette tanks chain pull even faster than in WoW. Only a handful of dungeons meaningfully scale down iLvl.
you shouldn’t use group finder…
you lose the right to play your way when you queue up.
You will see less and less of that as you progress into mythic plus. Normal and heroic is netflix territory even while leveling I’m afraid.
I mean, I normally go to normal dungeons to farm a legendary or to get the rep quests done. If you want me to go slow and auto attack so you can learn, just let me know.
A key to some of the problems with Wow’s current design philosophy - funneling everybody through to sweaty endgame. The content isn’t content, it’s just an obstacle. That’s the general mindset and it’s why the game feels so unsatisfying to so many.
Agreed it is a really odd experience.
Well, you are doing a normal dungeon, they are notorious for having 0 dificulty. These videos will only be relevant after Mythic.
I’ve been through leveling content so much why make it take longer or make it important it’s annoying
I agree it feels annoying to some, such as yourself. And it’s catered now to people like you who just want to get through it as fast as possible. And while I don’t think making things grinder or take longer is the answer, something has been lost here that was part of the magic of the journey - and some feel that loss more than others.

it’s catered now to people like you who just want to get through it as fast as possible
no, it’s catered to people who click their spells and don’t realize it’s possible to move out of fire. the fact that we can speedrun it as a result is a byproduct of that, not a design goal.
What I meant is simply that it has been revised to allow for speedy leveling to quickly get players to endgame. But thanks for the vitriol, you hardly disappoint.
