It’s not really pride, I think, but instead just nostalgia of mix and matched gear before transmog was put into the game. I said just before your post, but sometimes I completely remove my transmog to get that feeling again (or just to annoy my raid leader who hates untransmogged looks/ugly transmogs. Which are ironically the two most common things I actually enjoy on my character… Though, lately, I have been actually attempting to make decent transmogs. Damn you, All The Things addon.
Sounds and looks like transmog to me
Yours is cute ![]()

OCD, If I transmogged it would have to be transmogged 24/7 and I just really don’t feel like transmogging every time I change a piece of gear.

I never look at my character.
Back in the good old days of vanilla I didn’t care what I looked like as long as there was a puddle of goo in front of me that was my enemy.
Y-you dont have to get so real about it…
sobs in the corner
some ppl have absolutely zero interest in anything that gives no power / is just bling.
i do mog, but i can understand not being interested in bling ; im really not interested in getting rank 4 essences for example as its just bling with zero power added.
I’m not mad. I just think blizzard coulda done a lot better. You like playing a fury goblin that’s all on you bb grl
I have 12 max level characters and they are constantly upgrading their gear. I can’t tell you the amount of gold it is to keep up with that but it’s easily in the thousands per week. It’s also just a pain.
thats what i was just thinking lol.
Probably scouring the forums daily to see if anyone made a thread about it
I wear the same outfit for 6 months or a year and then change it to something else when i get sick of seeing myself.
These peoples are probably people who are afraid of change and when things are different. They need anything to always be the same
Maybe I like to look like how my char looks. Like I just climbed out of bed 24/7.
I’d like to know why someone would play a dwarf and then hide their majestic beard underneath a helm.
Also, the image for that video is horrifying.
I don’t know how people do random mogs or go naked, I want my hunter to look like a badass that lives in the wild.
I always transmog so I look like a simple NPC, a pauper even. In PUG’s i’m sure people look at me and think I’m a newbie
100% This, Lol!
I’m a boomchicken, and even I transmog.
I don’t do it for story or RP. I do it because I hate not matching. And I always hide helms because they’re ugly. The capes usually look terrible on my characters, so those get hidden as well. Shoulders are usually ugly too, so I have to find a replacement. And let’s face it, some gear sets are just hideous.
If I don’t tmog, it’s because I don’t want to spend gold. I usually stick with one outfit for a long time, just mogging the parts that need it as I obtain gear so that I match.
If I can semi-match, I’m going to at least make that effort. Tmog is a blessing. Something I’ve learned to appreciate more over the years.
Only plebeians use full sets for transmog.
Which I totally am on my Paladin usually
Some people just wear shirts and pants.
