So your saying you looked at the magic 8 ball then or did the gypsy read your tea leaf and tell you?
I doubt you have read any articles really they did say and probably promised in changing their philosophy in terms of how they design the game going forward after 9.1.5 and into Dragonflight they said that Dragonflight will be more alt friendly , more accountwide, more catch up, and more quality of life on day 1 of the expansion.
And plus 9.2 and 9.2.5 proved that they are changing their ways in terms of how they make content and they have acknowledged that they were stubborn for a long time.
The information released so far is light. Considering their recent development pattern:
We can see that the art department is still going great. And dragons will sell lots of copies. But how about the gameplay? That’s why so many people have quit this expansion.
I think people forget that the developers start work on the next expansion shortly after the current one launches.
Imagine being so delusional that you can look at bfa and SL, then go “ah yes, surely this rushed expansion doesnt need more time in the oven!”
Get a grip, bloody sycophants.
You’ve got it exactly right imo. Loads of posts today saying “there’s no way it will be quality if they release it this year”, and yet they’re all forgetting the fact that DF isn’t going to have the ridiculous levels of systems that were in Legion/BFA/SL. Way less development time is needed, and they’ve been working on it for a while already.
If Dragonflight was actually decent and or good I highly doubt any of you would retract your negativity.
You need to understand “PR” or “Public relations” is just another term for propagandist. Those relations are meant to stir consumers into a favorable position for the company, not the consumer. Take everything you read with a pound of salt.
They got to work on actual content instead of borrowed power. Kudos to the devs.
Nah, DF really is a rushed cash grab, expect even more systems and hidden grinds, more pathfinder etc…
i am going to say this before anyone else sl was the best
when df is out in the first 2-5 months of release lol
This is a vague assurance at this point, given we have been given very little information on gameplay.
Probably rushed. But the true cash grab would have been to have a legendary collector’s edition that with Eternal Legendary Crests to be used in DI.
Why would they lie at this point when their image is already not in a good light but I think the expansion will speak for itself when released. EVEN if they did apologize to everything they have done they will use that apology and ridicule it to the end of the earth. So yah action will speak louder than any words.
They won’t
We can’t say for sure, because no one really knows for certain. However, they did say explicitly that there would not be any systems like azerite power, covenants would be cosmetic only, etc. The only power on your character would come from your gear and your talents, that’s it. They were quite clear about that aspect.
Granted, we need to take that with a grain of salt. They’ve also done next to nothing to prove any of that is true lmao.
WE DON"T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE AND ARE NOT GOING TO DO! We don’t have the alpha, we can only see two trees, and that means there is a lot unknown about it. Currently it reads as a rehash of classic to where their making a modern version of classic WoW with everything being on a tree instead. I guarantee there will be systems, given they always sneak some in. Yet given how BFA and SL’s went, its not hard to believe or feel like this expansion could potentially be more of the same.
I truly hope it isn’t, yet its all wait and see as I imagine the alpha or beta should be out next week.
I’ve seen this repeated a lot today.
So far we haven’t seen if this is true or not. I find it hard to believe they abandon systems completely and the new Dragon Flying is a system. We are also getting Renown 2.0. The Flights are Covenants.
We honestly know very little about Dragonflight so people are going off recent history.
They have been saying they work one expansion ahead for a long time now and yet they keep dropping half finished stinkers that take 2 years to patch up.
And that its probably different teams ^^
Why do they ever give us misleadingly incomplete information and then say they didn’t say what everyone thought they were hearing? Your faith is strong, grasshopper.
