People have been dipping into too much egg nog on this forum!

My Mom every Christmas Eve makes her specialty coffees after dinnner.

Baileys, Grand Marnier, Coffee, Sugar around the rim and a dollop of whipped cream. Absolutely delicious!

A little bit added to Baily’s is excellent. Sorta like a peanut butter cup.

I put my dad’s recipe in the CS lounge a few days ago. Agreed home made is best. It is a wordy rambling recipe because he is old, but it is good.

I’m gonna keep it 55th for a moment, I’ve never once had eggnog because it looks absolutely disgusting.

“eggnog” is one of the most common treats year round.

In the US I agree, but again I say it in the idea that you REALLY aren’t missing much out of the taste. It’s not that [[it isn’t for everyone]], it’s that it is just a liquid custard of sorts with alcohol. I said it out of kindness to tell you since you wrote that you never tried it.

Fate showed me a recipe for it on TikTok and it looked bomb. Good lookin out, but my curiosity overpowers me.

Well word to the wise, definitely go home made instead of store bought because that stuff is disgusting. Home made you taste the difference and you can tweak it later [add in your fav alcohol etc]

I made a pumpkin braggot with cinnamon and chipotle for next year’s holiday beverage libation.

This year’s is a wild Alaska blueberry rye braggot that is incredibly smooth and served in smalllllll glasses.

For a booze free night, I have some honey cinnamon syrup to mix with my ginger green kombucha base.

And I do occasionally make nog, cooked for the store I work at (and able to foam for the baristas) or raw for personal consumption. With or without rum!

I love a nice beverage.
