There is no reason to want to do that. No I want to not feel nausea after using DR for a bit, and want more precison. I don’t care if it’s slower. If I wanted to use it just to AFK in mid-air, I wouldn’t have the achievement points that I have.
Or people can stop trolling this topic.
Fine with this, but have both forms of flying. Give people DR in the future through mount equipment or something.

It’s a reason, not the main one.
I do hope Blizzard can add some more accessibility options to help those having trouble. I would like it too as the tunnel vison thing at speed gets annoying at times. I don’t see old flying getting added just for that or we would of probably had it by now. I think pathfinder will still need to be done by everyone that wants it.

They are still selling them. If they are selling a product that cannot be used with clear knowledge of such, they have problems. I doubt their new MS overlords will wnt them to tank subscriptions that badly

This, and strategy is why I like the original flight but I also like dragon riding flight.

I understand. But I think a batter solution to this would be to just ask for a way to limit the speed with a toggle or ability (which, from what I understand is what is causing people motion sickness) and not going back to the older and outdated version.

Here we agree 100%, that’s why I replied you like I did.
I don’t imagine they get rid of flying that they’ve had in the game for 18 years, because when they did before, it caused so many sub drops that they had to go back on it.

Eh, nah. I still stand by that affirmation. There are no downsides to DF in comparison to the old flying system besides hovering. Hovering was useful to AFK safely and the old system was beneficial to botters. The other downside (people with motion sickness) can be worked around the new system.

I don’t see the reason in AFK safely, since the server will disconnect after so long.
And bots figure their way around anything. They did on the multibox restrictions and restrictions to keep them from advertising and spamming. If anything it could benefit them because once they figure it out, they can get around faster, so they don’t get caught. A lot of them also went into WM because there are less players there. Less competition for nodes.
