For player A to make gold, there’s zero need for new gold creation. You simply need player B to give it to player A in exchange for them passing on items. Known as a GDKP carry.
Bots on the other hand create new resources and gold, which devalues the resources and gold of all players by increasing supply and reducing farm availability.
How does player b make gold? 
The 50-100G leveling greens disagree with RMT not being a thing on era lol. I tried to level a char on Whitemane and the economy is insane. Everything is literally 10x what it costs on Anni.
If yiu cant find people to play with while leveling then the server isnt popping

Our server has rock bottom prices, maybe we can do a swap between servers? Hard to make gold selling anything here.

Believe it or not, vanilla servers were not designed to hold 50k players. “But layers make it multiple servers in one!” Well yeah, multiple joint servers wirhout multiple separate economies. Only one auction house linked to all layers. The actual benefits to mega servers are completely made up and baseless. It’s an illusion
It would be different if the game world itself was 5x the size in scope but it isn’t.
Never mind the fact that servers don’t have a fixed amount of layers. You can go from 8 to 4 to 2 depending on different scenarios right? Ofc the economy gonna be more fried than a 1 layer server
The bots wax and wane. There have been a lot more recently in UBRS. You’ll see plenty of green geared mages running in all of them taking the exact same path.
The only greens I could find that were high price were high RNG of healing and certain of the eagle ranging from 20 to 50 gold (right now) If you go one point south of “optimal” its 1 to 5 gold.
Also WTH are you doing buying gear on the AH as a fresh character? Why not be smart and use whatever you get when leveling and questing and put things on the AH so you can afford all the skills, mounts, and have a couple thousand left over when you are 60…
Omg I noticed this yesterday on my pally doing a quest!
The only people I could find to wPvP were bots in BRM, and the smaller communities are being choked to death by bots in their servers peddling things to whitemane. Again today levelling on Horde Arugal-Yojamba someone joined and and got disappointed with all the bots and would rather deal with anni bots if they’re here anyway.
I got rank 14 before maxed mining, still not maxed.

That server, Yojamba, is that one of the servers on the super empty cluster? If so that is where the bots that still operate went because we murdered them so badly on whitemane that they simply could not operate.
There is one horde guild and its sister allies guild left who think buying gold is OK. The rest are very anti gold buying and as a result the gross amount of gold liquidity on the server has drastically reduced over the last 2 years. We have proven that if the bots are crushed and the buyers are few the economy on these games can heal.

So instead of getting that gold from gdkp’s, from some whale who bought $300 worth of gold, those players are just buying it themselves.
That was the implication I was making.
The GDKP crowd is in complete denial that GDKP like anything else in the game that costs gold drives RMT.
I’ve been in guilds that people openly admitted to buying 100g for their level 40 mount so they can “get it right at 40”. If there are people willing to drop a few bucks on 100g for a 40 mount there are people willing to drop $10 on 1000g for an Epic mount or even more for gear.
Bindings on Whitemane(Horde side) are 50k.
