I joined a week or so ago, and I can say it’s a breath of fresh air. The officers and GM’s seem pretty active, and engage with the guild consistently. I’ve been in a few large guilds that just recruit but don’t chat. And it’s okay if you don’t want to chat, but it’s nice to see higher ranked members of a guild engaging and growing the community, especially during a content drought. It’s peaceful, engaging if you want, and supportive if you need it.

I have been a member of Pensive for nearly two years now (come September) and it has been a truly wonderful time. Everyone is super friendly, very engaging and always willing to help out with anything. WoW is in a bit a of a lul as we all wait for 9.1 but there are lots of things going on in Pensive.
We have Mythic Minus every Monday to get members keys before the Tuesday reset, raids throughout the week, pvp activities daily and at the end of June on both factions - Alliance and Horde - we will be having our Second Annual Pensive Pride Parade as well as a host of other activities during June for Pride Month for which EVERYONE is welcome to take part in!

Things I’m not: a raider, a mythic dungeon runner or any dungeon runner for that matter, a rated pvp’er or really anything that involves playing with others.
Things I am: a lore freak, a pet battler, an alt-o-holic, just about anything I can do solo.
Things that make Pensive great: is dual faction (see alt-o-holic above), members are friendly and helpful for those that do things that involves playing with others (This includes raiding, pvp and mythic dungeons, etc). The chat is active, the discord even more so, it is free from toxic topics, people are respected in the form of their choosing and it is a place I have called home for around two years. It’s the best guild I have ever been in and am excited to log on even when Blizz is dragging on content. It might not be for everyone but it is full of kind hearted well meaning members with a leadership that does more for the guild then any other guild I’ve been a member of.
Bottom line: Looking for a good guild full of good people stop by, take a chance, worst case - you keep looking for your guild.

Pensive is hands down one of the most open and welcoming guilds I’ve ever been a part of, and this is coming from someone who has been playing since launch over 15 years ago, having been an officer and leader in 2 huge raid guilds back in Vanilla and TBC, and running a Friends and Family smaller raiding guild through WotLK.
The folks in this guild are super friendly and helpful and unlike many other guilds i’ve been in there isn’t an clique mentality between the high end content players and the casuals. I’ve been in this guild on and off for the past 2 expasions having stopped playing at the end of BFA and both my wife and I were welcomed back with open arms when we picked back up in early Shadowlands.
If you’re looking for a laid back, friendly guild with a lot of players doing the content you’re looking for you’d be hard pressed to find a better group to spend your time in the game with.
Prime example: I can’t get my wife to run mythics to save my life, she’s just so anxious over the toxicity and pressure in that type of content and I’ve been trying to nudge her in that direction for years. Two seasoned m+ vets heard her talking about this and within an hour had her pushing through her first mythic.
TLDR - great guild, no drama, friendly folks, lots of players who enjoy playing what you do. Totally worth checking out if you’re looking for a new WoW family.

I have been very impressed by how helpful the members of Pensive are. Anytime someone needs to run a key, people are always offering to help out even if its one they don’t necessarily need themselves. The Mythic Minus event that runs on Mondays is a great way to learn about running keys and start gearing your toon.
I would recommend Pensive to anyone looking for a chill guild with a lot of events to participate in. I would especially advocate for joining if you are nervous about group play. I was hesitant in starting wow endgame content since I had never run dungeons or raids before, but this community could not have been more supportive. It’s great to have a place to learn and improve without toxicity!

Looking for a great new home! My Horde home for almost a year… From the instant I joined I really did feel warmly welcomed and a part of the Pensive family. (I have also joined the Alliance side). There is no elitism nor toxicity, and from the moment you join, you feel you are an integral part of the guild. The guild is extremely active offering raid teams (at various levels), mythic keys pretty much ongoing 24/7, questing, old content, pvp, events, contests and much more. You can be as active in the guild as you want to be. The Pensive discord is overflowing with tons of great information. Guild chat is very friendly and promotes a great sense of community and family. Questions are asked and answered and guild members really do want to help others and see their guild mates succeed. Everyone is warmly welcomed! So if you want a truly unique and special WoW experience, consider Pensive (it is dual faction so if you can join either side or both). Joined Pensive almost a month ago after last guild died from raid loggers. Was hoping to find an active friendly guild, and I definitely found it. I joined alliance (well both, but I main Alliance) and it is an active guild for sure.
Every guild is what you make it (potentially). Pensive offers a friendly non-elitist welcoming community. Members are active and generally forming groups of all types to explore content, m+, raid, etc. Lots of guild runs for torghast and mythics.
I’ve been playing wow since vanilla, and I have to say Pensive is one of the best guilds I have been in, hands down. If you’re the type of person who just wants to enjoy the game, play what you want to play, and have a great guild to be a part of, this is the place.
Couldn’t recommend Pensive more. Two Thumbs up.

I’ve been here 3.5 years after switching to Alliance and transferring. Couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
We’re always looking for fun, like-minded people to hang with and regularly update our roster to accommodate new peeps even though we usually hover at 900+.
