I have been a member of Pensive for a little over a year, having joined in September of 2019. I have only been in roughly 2 guilds prior to my joining and Pensive is something truly unique and special and it starts with the top.
The leadership team of Briar, Aschien and Doc (as well as the officers and really, ALL members) have cultivated an amazingly inclusive atmosphere. You can be from any background, LGBT or straight, any ethnicity or age and it doesn’t matter. Once you join Pensive, you’ve joined a family who only cares that you have the best time you can for your time in the guild.
There is always something going on - whether it’s dungeons, questing, M+, raids, old content, pvp or just gathering mats and the Pensive Discord is just the same. Lots of things to do, lots of places in it to lose yourself. A couple particular favorite places of mine are the Hearthstone Tavern where Pensive members post dishes/drinks/treats etc they’ve made or have had, as well as Derpp the “RPG-area” where the participants have a fairly nice story going on.
If you need help, or have a question, someone is always there to help out and answer. If you need someone to whisper to talk with about anything, again, the members of Pensive are there for you.
This is truly a unique guild like no other. It’s more than “just a guild” - it’s a family.

Been with this guild for about a year now and I have found my forever guild. Amazing people, friendly and the GM is always fair and impartial. Can’t ask for a better guild than this one.

Looking for a great new home! It took me a long time to decide which guild to join on my new Horde main. I saw a very friendly post in chat and took a look at their guidelines etc. After a couple weeks of debating, I joined Pensive (US-Dalaran) on the Horde side in the summer, with some skepticism as often guilds are not what they purport to be. From the instant I joined I really did feel warmly welcomed and a part of the Pensive family. (I have also joined the Alliance side). The leadership team (Briar, Aschien, Doc, and many others) are extremely organized and are on top of things! There are not enough accolades to describe just how hard they all work for the benefit of EVERY member. There is no elitism, and from the moment you join, you feel you are an integral part of the guild. The guild is extremely active offering raid teams (at various levels), mythic keys pretty much ongoing 24/7, questing, old content, pvp, events, contests and much more. You can be as active in the guild as you want to be. The Pensive discord is overflowing with tons of great information. Guild chat is very friendly and promotes a great sense of community and family. Questions are asked and answered and guild members really do want to help others and see their guild mates succeed. Many times people go out of their way just to help others! Everyone is warmly welcomed! So if you want a truly unique and special WoW experience, consider Pensive (it is dual faction so if you can join either side or both). This guild is a major reason I continue to play wow. BfA grinding really burned me out and I thought for sure I wouldn’t be back shadowlands but I really missed these guys and this community. I got welcomed back like I never left.

Is there a updated listed time as to where this guild does their organized raiding and/or M+. I am looking for a good guild to find a place to do those things, But I am unique where I don’t fit in with most guilds time wise because of rl for me. I primarily work evenings and get off work at around 10pm (cst) and getting home around 30 minutes later, So that leaves me to find a place that raids late night or during the day. Now if the raid times jive with all that I am reading in this year long forum thread I would say sign me up now.
At one time I did play on dalaran but at some point my main (the one one I am posting on) got transferred to stormrage. But I still maintain a 51 mechagnome rouge alt on dalaran. And can easily transfer my main back to dalaran very easily.

Hello Drouzle. Yes Pensive has multiple scheduled raids going for both factions at this time. Right now there is a ton of activity going on including Mythic nights, Torghast runs, Raids, you name it.
I have been in Pensive since Legion, so maybe 3 years and the guild is wonderfully supportive. The people are really great and very helpful.
I want to give special kudos to the Filthy Casuals leadership team (Fleebles, Ybeline, and Glacial). After an unexpected stint away from the game, these folks welcomed me back and helped me gear up. I have been raiding with this group since Legion, lots of good times.
So if you are looking for a guild home that has something for everyone, you won’t do any better than Pensive.
do you guys dab in mythic raids or stop at aotc?
0/10 Briar will laugh at you in Discord when you politely offer to help the raid. Also the leaders will try to enforce rules they do not obey themselves…best of luck Pensive.

Hi, Drouzle! JP (who replied to you upthread) is correct that Pensive has several raids going right now. As one of the raid leads, I want to be sure to set proper expectations from the start – the Alliance-side Filthy Casuals team (the one that JP mentioned) has got a full roster of 30 right now so we’re not taking on new folks at the moment. If you are an experienced, geared raider, you could always ask to be put on a waiting list for that group. We run on weeknights anyway, though, so those times may not work for you.
There are a couple of other teams running regularly, for both beginners and more experienced folks. On Alliance side, it sounds like the one that may work best for you timewise would be the Sat/Sun team that runs from 1-3. I’m not 100% sure what roles/number of people they are looking for right now, but if you’re interested I can set you up with the raid lead for more info.
There are also Horde teams, but I only play Alliance so someone else would have to fill you in on those.
Pensive is a great guild, so I hope you’ll try us out, and see if one of the raids works for you!

hi Drouzle , we have a sat/sun team that runs from 1-3pm server time . we are running this raid slowly because we like to have fun . This raid is progression but we are in no hurry . we also have a week night raid team wens/fri 830 -1030 server. this raid is moving a bit faster but w/o progression its mainly a learning raid and a way to gear up . please feel free to msg me in discord if you choose to join the guild . oops me deleted my original reply lol. But I just transferred this toon over to Dalran and applied to the guild using the in game guild search tool. Hope to hear from someone soon. I am gonna try and make a effort to log on sometime tomorrow afternoon before I have to leave for work. If not then I should be on by 11 pm tomorrow evening. I feel bad for anyone that has an opinion in this guild and gets shot down by this close minded person that wants to control everyone under her. There are some good people in here who unfortunately are lead by a hypocrite. “non discriminatory” my butttttttt.

We have a set of guidelines visible for all to see. Leadership and members are all expected to follow these guidelines to enable an environment free from toxicity. If any member of leadership offends someone, we are more than willing to have a mature conversation about it and apologize if necessary.

Pensive is a place where you will find good people, lots of active folks, and a home. We are a casual social guild with all levels of players that help each other out and make it a fun place to be. I’ve been a member the majority of the time I’ve been playing and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
The “Guild Master” is more toxic than the people she labels as toxic.
Says there are guidelines, follows absolutely zero. How about let someone that
actually cares, run the guild and take a hike. - from a not so toxic person that has a little compassion for the people you step all over… /spit
