Penance (AU) - Unable to create character. Both factions locked!

Penance will be a dead realm because no one can create characters on it.

Most of our guild are already rolling on the US PVE realm :confused:

Iā€™d just wait it out and roll when we can - the US servers and Shadowstrike will have to deal with obscene queues. It sucks to have to wait and we deserver better, but itā€™ll be worth it

I am also having issues, same thing as everyone else. I am unable to make characters, either it gives me an error to create the character or both factions are grayed out, Iā€™ve managed to make one character but it only shows up on the realm list. It does not show the made character on the character screen. I cannot log in at all on this server.

totally the same - character creation on penance is broken. Itā€™s penance for rolling on a small oceania server. I think it might be come back in a few hours.

Made my Gnome Mage on Shadowstrike AU, and now I can see her log in scene and name (which is the same name I picked on Penance AU) on the Penance AU realm side.

Was about to ask Why, but this is Blizzard, things always break!

well im going to ā€œworkā€ from home for a while - hope this thread gets updated when penance has been served and the realm is playable. I think every realm is having troubles - on my discord everyone is either in a very long queue or manage to log on and is running on the spot with dozens of others.

AU pvp server is working fine.

I am just hoping blizzard are doing something about this now to fix the pve server

Cant create either because of faction imbalanceā€¦ They said they werenā€™t enforcing that on PVE servers.

I was waiting an hour before hand and tried to log into Penance at 5m to 5 and then right on 5 and already disabled. Long queues for all other servers. Another bad launch. 19 years olf practice and still cant get it right. I bet you reward those players that get classic firsts because they were able to start on time and the rest of us get a punch in the face because we still cant log onto a region appropriate server. DO BETTER BLIZZARD. Ive been subbing since 2004.

I refuse to believe that Blizzard havenā€™t noticed that all the realms are full, except one server where nobody is in the game at all.
