I do not understand the new trend in wow. I put everyone on ignore that was boosting or selling tank/heal services then realized there was no one left in LFG. Everyone is paying some random group to play the content for them, then just sits in town the rest of the time.
In PvP they are just AFK or auto running to Drek or even loosing on purpose to get 2500+ honor every 7 minutes to grind R14 in 9 weeks then just stand in town with gear on.
No one really seems to want to actually play the game. Am I wrong?

Itâs a completely solved MMO where we know the end goal⊠and just want to skip to it.

It is curious. Is there some status gained from playing wow? I would argue no. Still ppl pay real money to âstartâ playing this 20 year old game.

If they are advertising in LFG, report them every time. On anniversary servers people are getting temp bans when reported for this. Best of luck to you!

I think people tend to notice what they are looking at.
I find people barely play the game any more, they just buy their way into every thing. If GDKPâs existed? Theyâd just AFK in raids, too.

Your perspective needs more perspective. What youâre telling me is theyâve already played the game so they want to pay someone to play the game so they can sit in SW and show off the 20 year old gear from the 20 year old raids they already played that in your words are, âsolvedâ so they can show off what? That they still know how to stand in town wearing T2?

The biggest issue it the spam that fills LFG/Trade when Blizzard gave them a channel to advertise boosting in. Even if you report them nothing happens.
Iâd say the biggest issue is the fact that the most rewarding way to play the game is not to play the game as intended. Ignore the objectives and just spam the bosses in AV as an example. Itâs more rewarding to go against how the game was designed. That and the boosting and selling is way out of hand.
Iâve leveled and geared toons for raid 15 times in the last 4 years just in vanilla. I like raiding. Iâm tired of leveling. Hope this answers your thoughtless question.

Sorry. This is another mindless response. Classic raiding is horrible, boring, bland, auto attack nonsense. The beauty of classic was in the social community and the long leveling process. Retail is much, much better raiding. Why spend real money to fast foward to a raid where the big rotation is frostboltâŠfrostboltâŠfrostbolt? It does not make sense.

I agree. At this point I canât really understand why anyone is still playing WoW. Itâs just boosting and raid logging on Nightslayer. If theyâre that bored of it, why keep coming back?

Also agree with this. I find it bizarre how many people in classic crap all over retail but then treat classic the exact same way, skip the leveling and just straight to end game. And retail has far better end game. The only reason to play classic is to enjoy the journey.

I specifically hate retails end game. The only thing fun about retail is the leveling. The inverse is true for classic.
They ban the best pug system and wonder why thereâs no pugs?
Thatâs crazy. Its total opposite for me. I love the long slow leveling and meeting people on the journey. Stories like Darkshire are incredible. In retail you just blow through it all in a day or so then start farming instances. The open world is the best part of the game and retail doesnât have one. Once youâre 60 though, then the boosting, min max community just kill the social vibe and turn it into a job.

You will prob be upset they are selling the top raid and dungeon gear in the cash shop for era and anniversary classic soon.
When they do that, I will never play again.
